...Rick Hendrick said that Jimmie has done a lot in a short time as far as wins goes. Statistically if he carried on the same length of time his stats would be better some say.

...Question is, is there truth to that logic?

...Jeff Gordon has been with Hendrick's organization for a while. The notes that are shared in HMS are notes from many years of Gordon's experience.

...If Jimmie had to build his own notes would he had been as successful up to this point? Would he had struggled more trying to compete if everyone at HMS had kept their notes from him and made him work his own setups up from scratch?

...You don't have to be specific to each question but take all into acount and give a general opinion based on the two drivers I mentioned.

Who would you like to see your favorite driver (or any driver) dress up as, for Halloween?

I would like to see Kenny Wallace as a court-jestor! He cracks me up.

I think Jr. should dress up as Teresa with a magic wand, going around casting spells on all Jr.'s cars!

Go Jr.>>>>

He claims that the steroids he took the first fight with Oscar did not make a difference. The fight in my eyes was VERY close and I think he is full of it!! What do you folks think? Maybe an asterisk next to his win?

Let me start off by saying, I'm a Red Sox fan - so I don't really like Alex Rodriguez, due to many incidents the past 4 or 5 seasons.

That being said, I do believe he's gotten a bad rap for not being a good post season player. If you look at his post season numbers next to those of all-time baseball greats, he actually compares quite favorably:

A-Rod - 39 games, .279, 7 HR, 17 RBI, 21 runs

Joe DiMaggio - 51 games, .271, 8 HR, 30 RBI, 27 runs

Willie Mays - 25 games, .247, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 12 runs

Stan Musial - 23 games, .256, 1 HR, 8 RBI, 9 runs

Frank Robinson - 35 games, .238, 10 HR, 19 RBI, 25 runs

Willie Stargell - 36 games, .278, 7 HR, 20 RBI, 18 runs

Jackie Robinson - 38 games, .234, 2 HR, 12 RBI, 22 runs

All of these players are Hall of Famers. Would you call them post season chokers too?

NO ONE. That's who. A-rod was going to make $29 million next year. That's twenty-nine million friggin dollars. Who do you think can pay him more than that? He's no longer valuable if you have to cut the rest of your team to pay him. Can't Scott Boras see that? He can't play all nine positions and pitch every day...

I've been seriously considering a Para-Ord Warthog PXT 45acp. I'm only interested in this pistol, i don't care how much you like your Glock or your XD, if I want to know about other pistols I'll ask about them. This question is about the Warthog. Owners of this gun, or those of you who have shot them, how do you like the short sight radius, are they accurate? Do you trust them? Is it reliable, what problems if any have you had.
My intention was not to offend anyone, but rather to weed out the answers that contain reference to anything other than the warthog.

The system used in Nascar is and has never been like any other sport! In the NFL it is an elimination system, best two teams go to the Superbowl. The winner of that game wins the championship!
Most other sports use the same system!
When Nascar gets to Homestead ( under the old system or the Chase system ) their are still 43 drivers that can win the race and as many of them that are close enough in points can win the Championship. It could be one or it could be a dozen.
How do those two systems compare?
You few that keep saying this know who I'm asking!
Please show me where I'm wrong!!
Thanks!

The guy opts out of a contract so lucrative that 7 years after he signed it he is still making 50% more than anybody else in baseball because he wants even MORE money.

People always blame the Yankees for driving up player salaries. Will these same people give the Yanks some credit if they stay to their word and don't negotiate with Arod?

The picthes on Australia are bouncy so the tall guy like V.R.V can make good use of the that.
Also he hits the deck hard.

I am sure that Pathan will struggle in Australia bcz of lack of pace (at least in test cric, though i hope not).

R.P boy is a fine swing bowler, Anil will be our frontline spinner.

So my 7 bowlers for down under series would be -

* Brother Jumbo
*Zaheer Khan
*R.P.Singh
*V.R.V Singh
*Harbhajan
*Murali Karthik
*Sreesanth

****Note - If the plan is to play with 5 bowlers then i will also pick Pathan boy as an allrounder.

My regular 4 for the first test at BOUNCY PERTH -
*V.R.V Singh (front line attack bowler)
*Zaheer Khan ( He will share the new ball)
*R.P Singh
*Brother Jumbo

On the SPINNING SYDNEY WICKET -
*V.R.V
*Zaheer
*R.P
*Brother Jumbo
*Karthik/Harbhajan
(2 spinners will do the job at sydney)

******V.R.V should be used as our 'Trump card' against the Aussie tall batsmen ;like Hayden,Symo.

V.R.V should bowl body line (lol)

Come on INDIA!

earlier i asked a question about the best starting 5 of all time and amazingly i caught some flack for having larry legend at small forward? has the world gone crazy? while you have to compare players by their position it's quite obvious larry is one of the best at ANY position.
this will probably make me sound old but does anyone think that ANY team that came after those laker/celtic teams of the 80's would really have a chance? starting with jordan on it seems as if it's against the rules to pass the ball.
keep in mind the celtics won 16 rings without having anyone lead the league in scoring.

Questec is the electronic strike zone. It can tell if an umpire should call a strike or ball. The umpire's union has fought fiercely to keep this info private but why. Hitters' batting averages are public, pitch counts are public, fielding errors and fpct are published. Why can't an umpire's accuracy be public knowledge. Good umpires should have nothing to fear, an occasional minor misjudgement is part of the game, only the few poor umpires would be exposed.

Why should he take his starters out of the game just because they are winning in a blowout? The only argument... ONLY ARGUMENT... I have read is that it risks hurting your starters and that Belichick doesn't care about his players. Welp... that doesn't make much sense to me. How is he risking hurting his players, namely Tom Brady, when they haven't been able to defend them all game? Brady comes out without a trickle of sweat on him and his jersey still clean... how is he gonna get hurt? Your risking hurting your players more when you are playing a close hard fought game... where the QB has been sacked like 8 times. You don't take them out until the game is through because your starters give you the best chance to win. Are you saying you should pull your starters then to prevent them from getting hurt... if you say yes then you have no IDEA what's going on. All the Patriots can do is get as much practice in for when they have close game... which will probably be against Indy this week.

Sure Kobe was charged (but not convicted) of a sex crime, but MJ had his issues as well - a gambler, adulterer etc.

Both are very marketable, both have rings, both are articulate, both are driven, both are filthy-talented, both good looking. What's the difference?
