Yes, he's running up the scores, but u can't label him a jerk.
There is no rule against that.
Bill Belechick needs to be better - maybe that's why they can't win another SB!
Hopefully, Colts will teach 'em.

I think he is a jerk.

But I have no problem with him scoring as much as they can. These are paid professional atheletes. Maybe the Dolphin defense could have earned that millions of dollars they will receive. This is not Ohio State playing Western Podunk University where the talent level is way out of whack. It is pro ball.

Belichick is a jerk, but I can think of many other reasons for that than the score to 1 football game.

No he isn't a jerk. Two reasons why.

1) People pay good money to see a football game with passes and runs and TD dances and everything. They would not be happy to watch the final 25 minutes of the game be, run up the middle, run up the middle, run up the middle, punt. They would justifiably feel cheated.

2) And the main reason, Mr. Bill is showing everybody he can beat the living bejeebers out of any team and that those camers on the field and on the opponents bench area were not the reasons he was winning. "You say I cheated, well 'How do ya like me know!'"

I hate the Patriots a whole lot, but I have no problem with them running up the score. If the other team doesn't like, then tell them to stop you.

As much as I want to say YES he is being a jerk, I can't. There isn't a mercy rule in professional sports. However, he is being very unsportsmanlike. Hopefully the Colts will end the Patriots unbeaten season!

No the Patriots score on accident, which really says something about the rest of the NFL on defense.

Yes he's a jerk. He's only rinning up the score because so far they haven't played anybody good--except the Cowboys. If you don't want them to score-- stop them.

Hey everyone including the media, some coaches, players questioned their superbowl wins. So they are out to prove a point! If the opposing defense cant stop them then thats their problem.

He's not so much of a jerk as he is dumb. Getting caught cheating and putting your starters needlessly at risk for games already won, is sheer stupidity.

I hate the Patriots, but run it up. If they can do it, do it!
Demoralize who you may play in the playoffs/superbowl. My team got beat by the patriots, which was there smallest margin of victory suprisingly, but who cares, it's the pros.
