I zeroed in and raised the point of impact to 1.5 inches at 50 yards. Can anyone give me an idea of the point of impact at 100 yards and 200 yards given this information?

Thanks

We did not chrono the shots. I have used this gun for years and it was on at 200 last year. I dropped it during the summer and I only had one chance to go to the range with it and that range was an indoor 50 yard range. The first group was perfect at 50 yards so I figured it was pretty much still on, but I wanted to raise the point of impact by about an inch and a half because my new lease has potential for some long shots. I kind of figured with the first answerer that it should be pretty close at 300.

a 30-06 shooting 180 grains should be 1 inch high at 100 yds and that puts it flat at 300 yards.....1.5 at 50 will put it a little bit to high at 100 for effective shots.....

No. Did you chrono your shots? That would give you a starting point, but even if you know the muzzle velocity and ballistic coefficient, it'll still give you only an estimate that isn't good enough to take into the field without actually shooting at various ranges. Relying on your gun shooting exactly the same as the test barrel used by the manufacturer isn't good enough.

a touch over 2 inches excessive at 50 yards. 30-06 does not drop lots at 2 hundred yards. in accordance to remingtons ballistic charts for the bullet you precise, if that's zeroed at 2 hundred yards, dropping right down to one hundred yards you're everywhere from one million.7-2.one million inches excessive, dropping decrease back yet another 50 yards won't improve your repayment by using lots in any respect. possibly a one million/2 inch tops.

The Remington Ballistics Chart gives the following for their 30-06 "180 gr. PSP Corelokt":
50Yd.s: +0.5", 100Yd.s: 0.8, 150Yd.s:-0.0"
200Yd.s: -2.1", 250 yd.s: -5.5", 300 yd.s: -10.4"
From this I compute from your "+1.5" @ 50 yd.s"
100Yd.s : +2.2", 150Yd.s: +2.1", 200 Yd.s: +0.0"
250Yd.s: -2.0", 300Yd.s: -6.2"
This oughta be pretty close.
Best of luck this year.

If you sight in at 450 yds then use a center hold for 100 yds to 450 yds the only time you need to readjust your sight is for shots longer than 600 yds.*
