Sure does. One it bumped up the buys for Cyber Sunday and it helps bump ratings for Raw. He will be back soon though the fall sweeps is starting soon and the ratings during that time allow them to set advertising rates for the following quarters.

I am angry about the rumors that stephanie and vince are mad about Jericho's return being leaked.

1) Do they think we are stupid? Even if the info wasn't leaked, the promos are so similar to the millenium countdown that it would be easy to speculate that it is him, even if it isn't him (Tazz had a similar type of hyping promo, and I'm sure others have as well).

2) the "leak" and all of this speculation has to be good for ratings. I feel like Jericho (if it is him) very possibly was originally supposed to debut on RAW or Cyber Sunday or maybe the previous PPV. All this confusion and misdirection, whether intentional or not, can only help their ratings (and Jericho's book sales) so whats to be upset about? (unless the rumor of them being upset about the leak is just another ploy to get ratings, think about it, go right ahead and tell people Jericho is coming back and everyone will watch RAW every week until he does)

Vince is doing a genius job with the save us promos. Everybody knows it's Jericho and so they keep tuning into raw thinking that he is going to return. Every time he does not return and they play the promos people have to tune in for another week to see if he will return. He is doing a good job of building up the hype for his return. The only thing I hope is that they don't play it out for too long because then some of the fans will start to get angry.

I agree with letting him get bigger first. Not steroid big, but his old build. It's the only way the Walls of Jericho will work on someone as big as Khali. (I refuse to call him great.)

-First the "revelations" and "save us 222" referred to bible verses, which referred to the city of Jericho.
-Also was some hype over clues given in the number codes in the background which suggested his theme music on one of the old WWE Music CDs
-Then x29 was believed to be Oct. 29
-X29 could also be Chris Jericho's initiation as Grand Slam Champion (December 9, 2001)
-And now Launch_19 is saying it Launches 19 days from now, (Raw 10/29) which is Survivor Series.

really, they can continue delaying and hyping as they haven't promised anything... or could claim it was different things. i.e., Bible verses referred to Michaels; DX returned on 10/29; Launch_19-Survivor Series is Edge's return.

Right always a Sold-out show; But; the Fans in the seats expected y2j and a better show {sorry but HBK and Hardy's match wasn't enough} and home viewers felt riped-off!

y2j wasn't enough to Save, and Raw needs the least amount of help!

Sledgehammer's requesting copy-cats!

I think Y2J is coming back. But I think they just need to get the return over and bring him back already. Everyone is waiting. They need to stop fooling around. All of those promos. Who else could it be.

They said they were holding off on his return a little longer to give him time to get buffed up a little more, apparently he isnt in the shape he was when he left 2 years ago, sources say he weighs in at under 200 lbs.

Yep Vince is doing a very good job building him up. They must have something really big planned for him.
