I hope not. I'm an Indians fan and I think the Sox fans should be commended for their rabid support of their team. I think we can agree that we have two outstanding baseball teams. I'm glad it wasn't a blowout like the D-Backs/Rockies series. This kind of series is fun to watch because it keeps you on the edge of your seat. No matter who wins, I think it's clear that the Indians and the Red Sox have some of the classiest and most loyal fans in major league baseball.

Knowing the "Madden curse" is alive and well, which player do you hope is on the cover of Madden '09? Obviously, the answer is someone you "know" and/or "hope" will get injured.

I'd say Rex Grossman. He's terrible, but nobody can seem to give him a solid season-ending concussion. Maybe being on the cover of Madden '09 will fix that. ^lol^

Seeing as how Steve McNair did not practice on Wednesday, and is questionable for this weekend, should the Baltimore Ravens start Troy Smith against the Buffalo Bills this weekend? The Buffalo Bills defense could still be reeling after that late defeat from the Cowboys on October 8th.

A deeper question is should they start giving Troy Smith more reps since McNair is on his last leg? I still feel Kyle Boller is too erratic, but that's just my take.

4 years ago the owners wanted the salary cap because players where making to much money 3 years later the cap jumped from $39 mil to $50 mil now players are getting more are the owners just driving them selfs back to high price players. Penner played his first full season and hes making like $5 mil a year and this kid still hasnt proved him self to be that great then Vanek also one full season and this huge contract and he was never ment to be a future star like many others. i know Lowe did what he did but he was only trying to make his Oilers better. thasts the point im getting to is that the owners dont want to pay this players these crazy contracts but they will put them selfs in the hole. what do you guys think.
