Yes. In the 80's there was a couple of good ones. Reggie Roby was a helluva punter, and there was another field goal kicker but I can't remember his name.

In NCAA, there have been quite a few, too many to really get an actual count for.
The best black kicker, as others have said, was Reggie Roby.
Justin Medlock played for the Cheifs, but he was cut during the season. He is still young, and I'm sure someone will take a chance on him again soon.
I'm not sure if he is still in the league, but I know that Rodney Williams was a punter for a few years.
Randall Cunningham was a backup punter and kicker while in the NFL (obviously QB was his primary position). He actually has one of the longest punts in NFL history. Kordell Stewart was in similar situations, although I don't remember him actually punting/kicking.
Some of the first black punters in the NFL were Horrace Cillom and Greg Coleman.
There have been quite a few through the years, but it is still considered a "primarily white position."
Sgold - that's right, now that you mention it, I do remember that. Haha, good ol' slash, always certain to entertain.

When Drafted by an NFL team next April Justin Medlock UCLA) will become the ONLY current African American Kicker in the NFL and the 7th ever.
I know one of them...
The Dallas Cowboys signed Cedric Oglesby in 2000. In 2001, he signed with the San Diego Chargers and was 3 out of 3 on field goal attempts and kicked a game winner in overtime against the Miami Dolphins. He later signed with the Arizona Cardinals and was 5 out of 6 on field goal attempts.

Reggie Roby of the Dolphins. used to wear his wrist watch during the game. No others come to mind. Fan from the late 1960s.

Reggie Roby was a great punter. Passed away last year. I remember watching him when I was younger with the one face mask bar, punting the ball.

Hey Jim Baw, Stewert actually was a punter in the one game for the Ravens. Their punter went down in the 1st quarter I believe on his first punt. Stewert had to play punter for them the rest of the game, he actually wasn't that bad although I wouldn't sign him as a punter lol.
Yeah I agree with most of the people on here, just wanted to add about Stewert since I liked him and actually remember hearing about him being the punter a few years back for the Ravens, of course they signed a punter during that week to replace him.
