The last time every post-season series, including the World Series, ended with the road team winning the deciding game each series was in 1975, when the Red Sox defeated the Athletics in a three-game sweep ending in Oakland, the Reds defeating the Pirates in a three-game sweep ending in Pittsburgh, then the Reds winning Game 7 of the World Series in Fenway Park.

That is the only time it occurred since the expanded playoffs began in 1969.
