I hope not. I'm an Indians fan and I think the Sox fans should be commended for their rabid support of their team. I think we can agree that we have two outstanding baseball teams. I'm glad it wasn't a blowout like the D-Backs/Rockies series. This kind of series is fun to watch because it keeps you on the edge of your seat. No matter who wins, I think it's clear that the Indians and the Red Sox have some of the classiest and most loyal fans in major league baseball.

There's no bad blood between the two clubs.
Tribe fans are just making it known that they love the Indians just as much as Red Sox Nation loves their Red Sox.

I guarantee you'll get a lot of grief for calling Red Sox fans classy. There are a lot of people out there who hate us. I wonder how many of the answers will contain the words Red Sux, lol.

The reality is most fans of any team (Red Sox, Indians, or anyone else) are fine, but there is a small minority who are classless jerks. People have a tendency to remember the jerks, because by nature of being jerks those are the ones that are in their faces all the time. So, the entire fanbase gets cast in a bad light.

I agree that these are two of the best teams in baseball. The Red Sox still have a bit of an uphill climb ahead, but I have faith in them. If they can win tomorrow we'll go to a 7th game, and it's anyone's series then!

I am not sure, but I think Cleveland first and Boston second have the most consecutive sold out games. That tells you a lot about our fans. I completely respect the Indians and if you have read any of my former posts, have been rooting for them all along, except against my Sox. If we lose, then I will continue to root for them. They are a good team who grind it out and remind me of a blue collar type team. We get into it on here, because it's all about who has the upper hand at the time to lead the smack talk. It's all in fun. I knew when this series started it was going to be a great series. I predicted it going seven and I hope it does. Either way, there is no hate for the Indians...just true fans being competitive and emotionally attached to their teams.

Thank you providing some sanity.

I root for my team (the Sox) and don't like seeing another team manhandle them (See games 2-4), but I'm smart enough to know that doesn't mean the other team sucks, or a certain player. As a Sox fan, I was incredibly bummed to hear, the Sizemore...You su_ _ chants, just as I'm sure many tribe fans felt the same way when some fans were chanting the same about Papi and Manny.

No team's fans have a monopoly on class. (or crass, for that manner)

Should be a fun Game 6.

Nah...

We hate the Yankees more.

Although, New York and Boston have the most front-running fans all over the country.

Anytime I see a moron walking through Cleveland with a Red Sox hat on, I want to punch him in the face.

another Boston purple Sox followers top listed below are bashing others, it really is immature, its nonetheless early contained in the season, and Teixeria, CC are sluggish starters, A-Rod and ton others on the DL so that they in basic terms cant pass on asserting that the Yankees will pass over the play-offs. Oh and Ditto too. BQ - Tim Wakefield were the perfect on the starting up rotation so some distance and Ramon Ramirez were lighting fixtures out except that gopher ball he served as a lot as Teixeiria.

I think it's an individual thing, I've had great conversations with Indians fans and it's great to "argue" back and forth. As long as you keep it light, and the respect is there, it's awesome. I don't consider anyone who automatically say the opposing team sucks a true fan. If you don't know the game, team or players, you have nothing to say.

I'm a sox fan and I hold nothing against Cleavland. I actually wanted to play you guys because I know you're a better team. I think its a good challenge for the sox and I do hope they win. But if we don't, at least it was to you guys and not a team that isn't as good (and wears pinstripes). Good luck!

Its just gamesmanship...I have respect for Indians fans that have respect for the Red Sox...but if I hear bad apples trashing the Red Sox, its on...*L*...and thats just a fan defending his team...true fans do it anyway...

There's bad blood between Boston fans and any other non-Boston fan. Red Sox fans are far from classy!! I'm an Angel's fan and I've experienced, first hand, what jerk-offs Boston fans can be!!
