Or rather, what current rules would you ensure were enforced?

I'd like to see fewer bases awarded when a pitch hits a batter that makes no (if any) attempt to get out of the way. I've seen too many batters lean into a pitch and be awarded first base.

I'd also like to see a "delay of game" rule. The pitcher gets 30 seconds (or a reasonable amount of time) between the time he gets the ball back and the time he begins his windup, or an automatic ball is called. Similarly, the batter gets 30 seconds (or a reasonable amount of time) to get back into the box, after which the pitcher may throw even if the batter is not ready to hit.

I would be perceived as such an asshole as a home-plate umpire, kind of like the cop that pulls you over for going 3 mph over the speed limit.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe that they have the best out there. But some people act like they're fielding CORvettes while the rest of the teams are fielding CHEvettes. I think that some Jr. fans are in for a rude awakening next year, because the equipment is not the main reason why HMS drivers are so successful. Please don't get me wrong, I like Jr., but I don't think that he's going to experience immediate success once he switches to Hendrick.

I think I heard them say something about two 5-0 teams playing? Tom Brady being anointed as the Chosen One?

Was anyone else disappointed by the complete lack of coverage on this game? (imagine my tongue firmly in my cheek!)

I'm not going to be able to make it to tonight's game . Anyway, does anyone know what's up with the TV situation in the Atlanta area? I'm well aware that MNF is on ESPN, but CBS also claims to have the game. Do I get to choose? I hope I don't have to watch it on CBS. The ESPN announcers suck, but their production value is way above that of CBS. Somehow, CBS always manages to F up the high def.

I am heading to a gun show this weekend to pick up a 12 gauge pump action. I don't want anything fancy just a basic gun. However I do want a known quality brand. I want an all purpose gun for mostly shooting clay, but not for home defense. Also, something easy to clean and maintain. Can you please make a recommendation on what gun and barrel length? Do you remeber who upset the the Patriots last time they were on a role and seemed unbeatable? It was the aweful Dolphins. Yes the Dolphins are probably worse this year than previous years but I am making a bold prediction that the Dolphins will beat the Pats next week.

Was anyone else a little disappointed to see her return with a gimmick so different from Ariel? Don't get me wrong, I'm still a big fan and she's still smokin hot but the Ariel character was just so different, and could have meshed well with several factions in TNA. Plus, I don't know if the Latina gangsta girl will have a reason to hang, batlike upside down from the ropes, which I'll miss.

I understand rating teams based on schedule, but just because they have not played a good team, that doesn't mean that they are not good, or that they don't deserve to be there. All they have done is taken care of buisness, and their defense has dominated. Purdue did not get past the 40 yard line until late in the 4th quarter, same with Kent state, yeah, i know, i know its just kent state. but just turn your hate down a notch, and give this team a chance.

Neither Ohio St. or USF have played any quality opponents. So how can they be 1-2? Also, BC #3, give me a break!!!! If any of those teams played LSU's schedule they would have won, at most, 3 games a piece. On the other hand, if LSU played any of those teams schedules, they would be undefeated and not have given up any points!!! There should just be a playoff system in college football, say the top 16 teams, oh, but then USC might not make it in then.
