They barely even mentioned this game.

I think I heard them say something about two 5-0 teams playing? Tom Brady being anointed as the Chosen One?

Was anyone else disappointed by the complete lack of coverage on this game? (imagine my tongue firmly in my cheek!)

I wasn't too disappointed about them not mentioning it much. I was p!ssed that Dallas lost. I really dislike Dallas, but I hate the Patriots with a fire that can only be matched by the flames of hell. lol!

Being from Connecticut, I guess ESPN is a bunch of homers whom assumed New England would dominate and thus thought the game unworthy of reporting first.

My true guess is the day's highlights were started while the game was still on, and the game was added on at the end of a highlights show already in the can.

There was a 7-10 minute segment. They always put Patriots and Red Sox towards the end of the half hour to keep us Pavlov dogs watching though the whole program.

Wow, some people don't see the implied sarcasm in your question, do they?

I noticed that last night too. God forbid if you wanted to see more than a clip or two of other games!

I know what you mean ... I think the coverage of the game was pre-empted by a billiards tournament.

And I thought I heard that Tom Brady will become President of Earth ..... I could be mistaken tho.

I think they may have mentioned it once, after they did the Budweiser Hot Seat and an Outside the Lines report on Belichik's cut-off sleeves.

If you had watched ESPN any last week, they talked about this game more than any other game, they even dubbed it "The Dual in Dallas"

pull your tongue out of your cheek and open your eyes.

Don't bite it off! I too was aghast. Where do we go, what do we do without up to the minute reports of football games?
