Neither Ohio St. or USF have played any quality opponents. So how can they be 1-2? Also, BC #3, give me a break!!!! If any of those teams played LSU's schedule they would have won, at most, 3 games a piece. On the other hand, if LSU played any of those teams schedules, they would be undefeated and not have given up any points!!! There should just be a playoff system in college football, say the top 16 teams, oh, but then USC might not make it in then.

LSU got some pretty LOUSY calls this weekend. The ref's always seem to screw them.
Kentucky is a great team. I'd much rather lose to them than anyone else.

If LSU had taken care of business this past weekend, then their fans wouldn't be on here having to cry about the unfairness of the BCS.
Yes, Ohio State has played a soft schedule, but they've won all their games easily and top the voting polls. And USF beat West Virginia when they were ranked fifth and the SEC's own Auburn when they were a top-25 team. Again, too, they've yet to lose, which is the biggest factor.
If LSU wanted to make the championship, then they shouldn't have allowed themselves to give up so many points to a team that they were supposed to have beaten handily. They lost, and their fans need to get over it.

Why don't you think South Carolina will make it in? ....just kiddin, I know you meant Southern Cal. Anyway, For you take on Ohio St & USF haven't played anyone. That's a fair statement for Ohio St, but USF went into Auburn(the team that beat the defending National Champs) and came out victors! Then they beat a West Virginia team that many had them going on to play for the National Championship this year. USF plays @ Rutgers this Thursday, even though Rutgers isn't what you would call a "powerhouse", it's still a huge test for USF. If they win that game it will quieten most critics.
There should definitely be a playoff system in Div1A College Football. This will solve all the "who's #1" disputes.

I agree about OSU playing a cupcake schedule, but USF is for real. BC has a cupcake schedule also. Im not worried, LSU will still be in the title game. I think the top 5 should be different but there is such a pac10/big10 bias. Here is my top 5 which takes into account schedul strength.
USF
LSU
Oklahoma
OSU
BC
I agree with most of the top 25 except the top 5.

What is really going to be a kick in the pants is unless the BCS/NCAA does some gerrymandering to get a few Big-10 schools in the Top 20 it is possible that OSU could wind up in the championship game without having played a Top 20 ranked opponent (i.e., one that is ranked before the bowl games start - not some team in week 3). Boise St where are you.
However, I have faith in the disingenuous NCAA president to make it happen. I mean he has his nose so far up the Big-10 commissioner's a** it isn't even funny.

USF has beaten west virginia and Auburn...NOT soft.
These teams have survived the upset pandemic (so far) and thus are 1 and 2.
It's not like these polls right now matter, the only one that matters is the one released that first weekend in December.

USF has beaten WVU and Auburn...so that is quality right there.
USF's SoS is a 9 and LSU's is an 8...so just admit your wrong and save the embarassment.
Ohio State is at ,like a 57...so that one I will agree....cupcake. BC is at 72 SoS.

Because... like it or not... this is how they rank teams. The top three are unbeaten, and LSU has a loss. Losses KILL you in the BCS.
