Why not take a knee with only 1 minute left in the game and your winning the game by 14. There is no way they the comboys would of came back. That was just classless and there is no room in the NFL for that. Take the knee leave with dignity. That just shows you what type of coach they have. I respect the patriots as a team and they are having a great season. I enjoyed the game against the cowboys except the final 1:30 of the game when you take the knee and run out the clock. After the int the cowboys conceded the game anyways. The NFL should fine the patriots coach for disrespecting themselves, the cowboys, and the league. This is not college ball you dont go higher in the rankings for blowing out teams. Grow up and show some class NE COACHES

14 points is 2 scores. Have you never seen a team score 14 points in under a minute? I've seen it happen many times. Did you watch last Monday night's game? The same Cowboys beat the Bills in that fashion.

Not everyone is upset about the Giants win over the Cowboys last night. They're shocked & disappointed about the Cowboys loss due to the fact that the Cowboys were supposed to win the game & host the NFC Title game. There are a lot of unhappy Cowboy fans today who are just wondering how the Giants pulled such a huge victory over the team who was the number one seed in the NFC playoffs & shocked the world? That nobody will ever know.

Whatg happened of the last play of the game wasnt classnessless, it was common sense.
Pats had to run one more play for the clock to run down and the game to be over. However, since it was fouth down, it made no sense to take a knee, since it would have been a turnover on downs. This means that the clock would have stopped, so taking a knee would NOT have resulted in ending the game. So that leaves two things; a run play or a pass play. No sense in doing a pass play, since it could yield an interception for a TD (remember the broncos-pats divisional playoff a few years ago? Bailey's INT didnt yield an TD, but it lead to an easy one). The only other option was a run play with the 4th string RB. Their true intention was to run down the clock, but resulted in a TD.
Another way to look at it is to consider how much the defensive stars of the Cowboys get paid. If they cant stop a 4th stringer from making a TD, thats embarrassing.

Pats were just running the ball straight ahead, nothing classless about that. Maybe the lack of class is in the Dallas D that were beaten and folded like little school girls.

Pats are a lot of things but classless is not one of them. And I despise them, but they do carry themself with dignity. TO wrote them a letter talking smack. They deserve to run up the score. I was actually pulling for someone to take TO out at the knees in the first quarter. So they are classier than I would have been

ohh how I hate the whining from the losing side in football..... it's a game.... the Cowboys played a good game, they were just out played by the Patriots, in their own house. fair and square...
I don't think you'd hear the players voicing such opinions.. they'd say they were outplayed, and that they've learned from the game, and will try not to make the same mistakes again.
enjoy your sour grapes.

You're talking about the New England Patriots. Classless is what they're all about.
IE-Getting caught cheating against a former coach, cheating with a married woman, not apologizing to the NFL, but only to your team when you do get caught cheating.

If you know anything about Belicheck you would know he has very strong ties with Navy. Eckel is an undrafted free agent underdog from Navy who im sure works hard in practice every week. I would say Belicheck probably wanted to reward him byletting him score a TD in the NFL which he probably never thought he would do. So from that standpoint they do have class.

Miracles happen and Dallas is the type of team that could pull it off - this is football not a cocktail party. You don't take a kneel with that much time left.
