Nothing can be done,or can it?

2007-09-29 23:59:01 · 7 answers · asked by Schumi 5 in Formula One

Hi Folks.
If you are a fan of F1, you must have noticed that they all have side-burns to below the ear.
This is not a trend that I see in everday life.
I love the skills and technical side of F1, but am bemused and amused in interviews of the drivers with long fuzzy bits on the side of the face.
What do you suppose is going on? A "Who has the longest side-burns competition as an aside" ?

Cheers,
Bob

Now is your chance, you have a good manager and a sub par team, can you do something with it. God I hope you choke, no need to hope.

I doubt very much that it would ever happen, nor am i banging the drum for it to happen, but could either city support another franchise? And how do you think the people would accept it?

I would think Montreal hockey fans could adopt a second team since they had the Maroons and Wanderers at different times - albeit nearly 100 years ago.

As for Toronto, I don't think it would go over big. But again, logistically, do you think there are enough hockey fans and enough resources to keep two teams afloat in the hotbeds of hockey?

i own a few handguns already but some of the starter pistols i have seen onlne are soo much cheaper and look really nice. i want a gun just to dick around with at my hunting camp without risking some of my more expensive/powerful guns....and i like the revolver style .22 guns better for when im in the woods....the semi auto just seems too civilized. how hard would it be to convert a starter pistol to fire live rounds. i am an auto mechanic so im pretty good with my hands and power tools. im not concerned with legality because i live in a rural area and i only see the police about 3 times a year. thx for the replys

Coming into this race, a lot of people thought that alonso was the better driver in the wet. I can't help but think that the 19 or so laps they had behind the safety car gave lewis great big advantage by helping him become more accustomed to driving in the wet, in the lead. I'm not saying thats why he won, but if the start of the race were a normal one, alonso and the two ferrari's would have had a better chance at challenging him, alonso probably would have given him a run for his money coming out of the first corner instead of getting left behind during the rolling start.

too bad my A's are not in it. Tell me which match up you would like to see in the Series? I think The Cubs Vs. the Indians would be a great series but I really do not see how the Indians get past the Angels, Yanks, or Sox- I can't see how one of these National League teams can beat an A.L. team but anything can happen like the Cards proved last year! I'm pumped for the playoffs

After every race (now 2 left), you can post anything you like about what happened during the race on here. Instead of asking single question. E.g. Alonso's crash as one, another question like lewis winning. also you can add stuff on here as well, so views, thoughts, ask questions and everything on here !!!!!!!

I mean they are not just slipping by with close wins, but they are demolishing their opponents, which are not all "cream puffs." They beat Louisville 40 - 34 and Arkansas 42 - 29.
I don't follow UK, but they surpised me.
