Maybe! But I believe he hasn't started his sentence yet. I'm sure that many people, including other teams will want to punish him real bad for turning F1 into such a fiasco and disgracing it. Many bosses will want him punished for putting Ron Dennis through all that controversy and bringing Ron's reputation into repute. The one bonus that I can see is the fact that Ferrari, who helped Alonso bring Ron Dennis down, have announced that they have their drivers for next season and are not interested in Alonso. As Alonso was part of the conspiracy against McLaren, I'm sure that the arrogant, two-faced, back-stabber thought Ferrari would be there for him. However, as we all know, Ferrari are bigger two faced, back stabbers than Fernando will ever be. He never had a chance with them and never will, regardless of what Ferrari led him to believe. I believe that his F1 career is over now and that will be justice. I also believe that Ferrari also need a bit of justice and that the other teams should get as much dirt on Ferrari as possible and have them banned from next season's championships as well. Unless Ferrari are also banned from scoring Constructors points, we already know who is going to win that championship for 2008. As McLaren can't compete in the constructors, remove Ferrari as well and some of the other teams (BMW, Renault, Toyota, Red Bull etc.) will have the opportunity to battle it out thus making 2008 a bit more interesting. If not, we will see a one horse race for the Constructors Championship and I can guarantee that Ferrari will win it.

I dunno mates. I don't know what the standard is for expectations of people in professional racing, and even though I'm more of a Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Robert Kubica fan, I can help but sympathize with Alonso.
Alonso pulled himself up through the ranks of F1 from Minardi all the way to McLaren, and won two championships on the way. He is definitely talented, hard working, and and still very young. I could see Hamilton easily following in the same path from having success at such an early age.
Plus, all we ever get is second hand information about the events behind closed-doors in F1. Who amongst us really know all that is really said and done in these situations?
I dunno. I think maybe a little compassion is in order because after all, Alonso is still human. And he's only 26! I barely got my operator's license at that age having grown up in New York City with all our mass transit.
Anyway, that's how I feel.

Yeah,I guess he did deserve it,though the championship seems to have one hand of Lewis on it already....Think there's any chance of someone else winning it now?
