it doesn't matter at this point. the bears need a RUNNING GAME. rex had the most success when he didn't have to pass all the time. cedric benson isn't playing ANYWHERE near starter status so it doesn't matter who's under center. brian griese will suffer the same fate as rex, just without as many interceptions

I live in Chicago and unfortunately have to hear all of the Bears b.s. almost every day. (I'm a Vikings fan) Anyway, I think Griese will do better, maybe even take them to the playoffs, but what about after that. They're not going to get past the 1st round even if they get there. Then they have no quarterback for next year, no one will have any faith in Rex. And Griese is going to be 65 years old. But hey, they still have Kyle Orton! Ha.

Yes...He is too inconsistent to be a reliable starting QB...He is the reason they lost the Super Bowl last season...Course, the Bears were boneheaded in letting Thomas Jones go to the Jets too...
