If I go to the 1:00 game on Monday, how early do I have to get there? What time do they close that part of the game prior to the start of the game? Thanks.

I'm just saying this becasue with TV ratings so low that it appears that almost no one is watching at all and a horribly marketed league I think some investment group would do this in a few years. Myabe 5 maybe 7 maybe 10 I don't know but I think it will happen. I mean the current commishioner is an idiot.

Proof of what can happen if a wife drags her husband along to go shopping.

Dear Mrs. Murry,
Our store is considering banning your family from ever shopping with us, unless your husband stops his antics. Below is a list of offences over the past few months all verified by our surveillance cameras.
MEMO
Re: Complaints
14 Things Mr. Wayne Murry has done while his spouse is shopping:
1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3.July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone,"Code 3" in housewares..... and watched what happened.
4. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and asked to put a bag of M&M's on lay-by.
5. September 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

In my mind, no, simply because a hit provides the opportunity for the defense to make a mistake. The only possible exception would be a bases loaded walk to win the game. Any other opinions?

No, I am not a Big 10 fan. But I am willing to listen to reason since I am stuck living in Big 10 country now. It just seems to me they are a group of overrated teams with below average team speed. They only play each other, Patsies, one crappy PAC 10 team a year, or Notre Dame. They build up an undeserved ranking and get stomped in the BCS. I am willing to listen to serious answers as to why I am just being ignorant.

I was reading an article online the other day and it was listing ways that the NBA might be able to improve in years to come. The article isn't very long, so if you're a lazy reader, this won't be too bad. Here's the link to the article: http://home.swbell.net/maya357/mavs_losing2.jpg When you're done reading it, tell me what you think.

Arguably the best and fierce rivalry in all of sports, these two teams could in fact meet in the playoffs (exception, unless Yankees fall to the Mariners, Twins, Blue Jays, Tigers, or Athletics) then it will be one hell of a playoff series. Even if your not a Sox or Yankee fan, just put which team you like better. Thanks!

I currently am starting Cincinatti defense because they are playing the Ravens, and after week 1, I will drop them for Carolina. Obviously not a desireable defense combo.

My question is it worth trading Jerious Norwood for Dallas defense. I currently have LT, Turner (his handcuff), Brandon Jacobs, and Betts. If I do this trade I'll prolly add Cadilac Williams who was just dropped. Do you think I should keep Norwood, hope he explodes in the 1st few weeks of the season and then trade him, or do it now. And also is Dallas D a big enough upgrade over Carolina.

Granted, the U.S. can put together a half-decent national team, but they really don't produce outstanding individual players. Odd, considering Americans make up about 10% of the NHL these days.

Mike Modano? Chris Chelios? Phil Housely? Joe Mullen?

These are the names we constantly hear as being the greatest U.S.-born players, yet none of them would ever manage better than being a third-liner on a Canadian, Czech, Russian or Swedish team, and that's probably giving some credit.

In light of Canada's 4 game sweep of the Russians in their own country and also the recent events in NHL, is it fair to say that Canada is not only near the top of the list in hockey countries, it is dominating all the others?

I understand that the Russian hockey development system isn't even close to what it used to be. There has been some big issues including ones over defection, improper coaching of well rounded hockey skills, and even over getting NHL players to play for the Olympic team. That said, going into Russia and sweeping 4 games is no easy task. They Russians have undeniable talent, as we will see in the NHL in 3 or 4 years, but their teamwork and coaching can be questioned.

As for the NHL, last year the top 6 scorers were all Canadians. The two top goal scorers were Canadians. The two top candidates for the Vezina were Canadians.

As far back as I can rember I was allways told that if you spin the cylinder on a revolver and slam it shut this can do damage to the revolver. Is this true? The reason I ask this guy I work with says people are stupid who say that.He claims he has a 357 Mag that he has been doing this to for years and he said it works fine.I know some of you on here are gunsmiths,I just wanted to get a gunsmiths opinion on jack @**es who do this with revolvers.
