Arguably the best and fierce rivalry in all of sports, these two teams could in fact meet in the playoffs (exception, unless Yankees fall to the Mariners, Twins, Blue Jays, Tigers, or Athletics) then it will be one hell of a playoff series. Even if your not a Sox or Yankee fan, just put which team you like better. Thanks!

I think the Red Sox are better, because i don't think the Yankees are going to have the starting pitching needed to beat the Red Sox.

The Yankees - Sox record is 8-7, 8 wins for the Yankees this year, thanks to the Sox getting swept by the Yankees couple of days ago in a 3 game series.

I have been a member of Red Sox Nation for over 40 yrs. been to well over 200 Red Sox games. Seen the Red Sox play in 4 time zones, 2 countries, and 15 stadiums, and even watched them play in a movie theatre (several times).

The Yankees. Now Cubs Fan up there said that the Yankees won't have the pitching??? Roger Clemens had a no hitter thru 6 innings then the next day Wang had a no hitter thru 7 innings. Then the Yankees scored more runs then Boston against Matsuzaka, Beckett, and Schilling, there three best starting pitchers. Then they sweep then.

Never count out the Yankees, didn't they just finish sweeping the Red Sox. It may be tough to take over AL East, but the Yankees will not go down losing division without a fight.
