You're gona really hate me then. Not only do I think the NFL is so much better than college football, but I'm a diehard Met fan (and lothe the Braves). You probably like NASCAR too! The NFL has players that actually are professionals. If you're gona watch college sports of any kind, then go watch Minor League Baseball or people playing in the street. I'm not saying it's not entertaining, but it's a lesser league. I actually like going to the Brooklyn Cyclones, every now and then. But I still rather go to a Met game, than a Cyclone game. So you're saying that you rather see an Atlanta college team, then the Falcons. Typical of a Braves fan.

College football is better. Big difference, Rivalries. In college you just show up as a freshman and somehow you want to beat this team so bad nothing else matters. In the NFL yes there are rivalries but it's more like that's nice when do I get paid. There is something magic about college football. The fans, the tradition. And there are actually an overwhelming amount of people who want to ruin it by paying college athletes.

College Football. It's not even close for me.
I've attended both college (mainly SEC) and NFL (Carolina Panthers) games. There is no comparison when you consider the electricity of the atmospheres.
The NFL is the daddy of pro sports, but you cannot beat the pageanty and tradition of college football. Also, the regular season matters more. If you're vying for the national title, you better win every game.
Especially among students and alumni of major college programs, there is this level of pride and sense of family that you feel when you're at a college game. The festivities before and after the game are almost as anticipated as the game itself.

I prefer College Football over the NFL. In fact, I'd rather watch two unknown college teams over two NFL teams.
I think college players are playing for the love of the game, and because they want to get drafted. To me, NFL players are overpaid attention grabbers. I mean, you caught a pass and scored a touchdown. You get paid millions to do that, no need for fancy dances and looking like an idiot.
Again, just my opinion.

College is better for the fans. Your college team won't be leaving town to chase more money. This will help develop a more fierce loyalty to the team, even among those who never attended the institution.
For myself, living in Northwest Washington, my college teams are 1) small college: Western Washington University. 2) major college: University of Washington.
Neither of these teams are leaving town. I didn't attend either school.
My local NFL club is the Seattle Seahawks. Those mercenaries will threaten to move out of town from time to time in order to get a new stadium or tax breaks or some such. That doesn't keep me from cheering for them as long as they are local though.

the nfl is more equal and competitive. however, college players play for the fun of the game. the nfl is strictly business. this is all true with the exception of favre. how many pay cuts did that guy take, 5?
pretty equal. both are good. pros and cons on both.

I've been to college and pro games and its definately college. Pro games are very boring and consist of a bunch of drunk guys. College games are so fun and people are actually there to root on their team.
