has anybody ever hit a homerun for there 3,000th hit?

Some say last season was possibly one of the best in his career (based on his level of play, not just on how many records he broke). On the otherhand, some say his performance in the playoffs was an indication that he is slowing down.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Marty will put up better or worse numbers than he did in the 2006-07 season?

i hate running...but i play college soccer. every year at preseason camp we have to run 2 miles in 14 minutes. i never make the time but i am in great shape when it comes to sprints, i beat every one, every time and the same goes for during games. this year i want to make the time but i have to run it on the 17th of august. i ran it in 16 minutes today. what can i do to shave 2 minutes off of my time with 3 weeks to go?!

should wimbledon have seeded serena and venus higher because of past performance. Serena shouldn't have had to play justine henin twice in a row in a grand slam final. Venus should have never had to play sharapova in the forth round.

I think the Lakers would have rebounded in 92 and most likely won 2 more Championships.

I see mad players in the nfl and college wearing visors like LT and idk why they wear them for, but it does give them a cool look , and how come i dont see many high skool players wearin them?

I am looking @ buying a Glock 17 9mm, or a Smith and Wesson 325PD in .45, or a Taurus Tracker .357 Magnum, or a Smith and Wesson .357 magnum.
I like 9mm cause its plentiful, I like .357 cause it can shoot .38s and possibly 9mm, and I like the .45 for stopping power. I am an avid outdoorsman and am unsure of what to get. I would like a gun for self defense.(Against animals and two-legged predators...) Please help.
