Yup, he did. But that's no reason to hate the guy. Do you not look up to your parents even though they did illegal drugs or things when they were younger?
He actually is a nice guy, he does alot of charity stuff.

All competitive bodybuilders take steroids. It's the norm in competition and you can't possibly win any unless you load up. No matter how hard you train (and diet), you can't achieve that freaky huge and ripped look without taking some anabolic substance. Arnold admitted to taking steroids and he had already paid the price with heart surgery sometime during the 90's. Lou took 'em for sure though he hasn't admitted it.

Most body builders including Schartznegger, used steriods, so I would think that Ferrigno also used them. especially since they trained in the same gym.

I think I can answer this way, nobody who has not taken them won Mr. Universe in recent history.
