I need to get stronger for next year for baseball and I have all the right weights and a membership to the gym but I'm not sure what excercises I should do to get stronger for next year.

In general squats because you want to generate a lot of power from your lower half.

Here's a good exercise for wrist strength.

Take a weight, maybe a 10 lb. one and tie a rope through it. Tie the other end of the string to a small wooden rod. If you stand on a chair the weight should touch the floor and there shouldn't be much tension on the rope. Now take the rod and "roll" the rod in your hands so the rope starts to coil around the rod and the weight lifts off the floor. Do this with your arms stretched out in front of your chest straight. Do NOT bend your arms. Roll the weight all the way up and then roll it back down. You should feel the burn in your forearms/wrists. I suggest using low weights as you want to do this exercise fairly quickly without a ton of laboring.

Strong forearms are key. Try attaching a weight on a rope to a dowel and rolling it up and down when your watching tv,

You also need really quick hands. I'm not a power hitter, so I'm not entirely sure. I do push ups and I hit it farther so... Do push ups.
