I see mad players in the nfl and college wearing visors like LT and idk why they wear them for, but it does give them a cool look , and how come i dont see many high skool players wearin them?

Yeah, it makes it a lot harder to get hit in the eyes/upper face area, and it does stop some of the glare from the sun. I'm not sure about college, but I know in the NFL the dark ones require a prescription from a doctor, which I mean how hard would that be for a NFL player to get? As far as highschool, I don't know, they might not be allowed, at least the dark ones. I know I've seen a few clear ones.

In high School nobody can wear a tinted visor becux it is a National High School rule, but they are allowed to wear visors if they are clear.
In college they are allowed to wear what ever they want, any type of visor and they wear them for the same reason most guys do in the NFL and that is becuz they look cool and can be intimitating.
L.T. wears one so linebackers can't look at his eyes and read what hole he is goin to run to.
Brian Dawkins wear one due to a laceration to his cornea as a child.

Visors give the runner three distinct advantages: 1) Shielding from the element i.e. Sun, Rain etc; 2)Shielding from stray fingers and 3) Deception, defenders can't see their eyes.

LT wears a visor because he has a vision impairment(something to do with the sunlight being to bright for him,it gives him migranes) Other guys use it for eye protection.

Less chance of a facemask, UV glare. They cost a bunch more than the ordinary cheap black lines beneath the eyes. That's why college players don't wear them.
