I don't know about you guys but I think that NASCAR is going a little overboard by docking a driver's points when caught "cheating". I agree with fining them and making them feel it in their wallets but stripping a driver of points that they worked hard to earn and obviously didn't obtain by cheating as they passed the inspections. I don't know maybe it's just me but I think it's crossing the line just a bit when they fine a driver thousands of dollars, dock him points, and then on top of that either a) make him start in the back of the pack or b) disqualify them and not allow them to participate at all. What do you think?

Because I think so!!! How does Fuentes, Hamels, etc...get in and not CY? CY is by far the 3rd best pitcher in the NL and probably top 8 in the MLB!!! I think LaRussa is a freaking idiot!!!

He just had an operation to get rid of his sciateas. He has diabetes. Before the operation, he couldn't walk because of the same pinching feeling in his entire leg. Now, he has it again, even though it's AFTER the operation. What can we do????

I have noticed a lot of complaints about ranking in this martial arts section.Lets start at the begining.The founders of modern karate FUNAKOSHI /MOTOBU/MABUNI etc.never possesed any rank before introducing their arts to JAPAN.Rank was unheard of on OKINAWA but to be accepted into the list of JAPANESE MARTIAL ARTS they had to accept the ranking structure established in KENDO//JUDO//AIKIDO etc.The BUDO KAI which was the governing authority awarded them ranks of 5th(godan) ranking.This is a master teacher rank which simply means he knows his stuff and can teach it .Where their ranks like 6th 7th dan and above came from I don't know but I can assure you they didn't sit any test for them.

Rank is subjective to the respect you extend to the holder of that rank.As in the armed forces you salute the rank not the man.Anyone who introduces himself promotes himself and insists on being called "MASTER" PROBABLY ISN'T.

Maybe others have also realized this:
Kimi left mclaren because of its poor reliability which made him really frustrated.
Alonso joins mclaren, and suddenly mclaren turns into the renault which won last season.
Alonso won in his 2nd year with renault, which again came from nowhere.

I have to ask, do drivers have a really big influence in building their race cars, or is Alonso just lucky?
