Does anyone know of a racing federation that is promoted worse than ChampCar? As bad as IRL promotion is, ChampCar is non-existent.

How do they expect to survive?

right now they need all the money they can just to secure the tracks and keep the cars running, give it time and they will have better promotion, BUT!!!! if you want unification then pray they never get the better advertising. if one series dies the good teams from the other will cross over, yes that's right if you love it pray for its death

Yes-it's poorly promoted but they will probably muddle through. If Bourdais does get his F1 ride as is the rumour that will give other aspiring drivers and their backers renewned faith in Champ Car as a stepping stone. The cities that host Champ Car street races don't really have many alternatives if they want such an event. Formula Atlantic brings out large fields, and it's safe to say all those drivers aspire to Champ Car. The costs have gone down considerably since it became a spec series. So Champ Car is likely to survive in spite of itself.
