My Dad has a pinching feeling in his leg when he walks, like a needle. What can I do to help him??

He just had an operation to get rid of his sciateas. He has diabetes. Before the operation, he couldn't walk because of the same pinching feeling in his entire leg. Now, he has it again, even though it's AFTER the operation. What can we do????
