I mean Greg Oden is pretty much the next big man to take over the league. Since SA got Timmy they have been a championship caliber team and can arguably win the title every year. If Oden takes Portland to the playoffs this next year do you think they are automatically a championship caliber team, or just another 2nd round exit team? what do you all think.

I think this is outrageous! NASCAR is now going to make Gordon and Johnson race with the same template as the other drivers in the circuit?...and make them race legal?

I liked the 80's I think the picthing was still great there was some great hitters and it seemed like everyone was on an even playing field You had the Home run hitting teams and you had teams that played Small Ball ( Cardials)
Pittsburgh was good the Royals were good
teams didn't only try to buy the World Series they grew players.

Is there no section on the internet where someone can go and not have to put up with ignorant anti-American sentiment? The latest is the hockey section here. Someone by the name of Moose Hair went on a tangent about how we "stupid" Americans don't realize that when a team based in the U.S. wins The Cup, it's Canadians actually doing the winning not "stupid Americans". Where does this crap come from? I know of not one person who thinks that it's American's who make up the player rosters of the NHL. But when someone answered this in a respectful manner explaining to this creitan that most knowledgable fans don't think this way, this idiot decided to answer by saying he played us "stupid" Americans like a fiddle. Nice. So, this is what passes for intelligent in Canada? But as a rebuttle, what exactly has Canada contributed to the world besides hockey and beer? See? Disrespect doesn't sound so good does it? So, enough. If you hate us, then don't come here. The rest are welcome!

I'm a distance runner, and every shoe I try is either too heavey, bulky, or gives me blisters. Does anyone have an awesome shoe that is opposite of my findings? I've tried Asics, but I found the ones I bought were just bulky and uncomfortable. I've also tried Nike Shocks, but they are so heavy I feel like I have weights on. The only shoe I've loved are Pumas but they are giving me blisters. Please Help!

i am only 16, am a responsible shooter and member of 4h shooting sports, the ATA, and have completed my hunter safety course, so i do know of the dangers of firearms. i wanted to start carrying a concealed weapon for when i work and other times in MD. im planning on getting a pistol soon("getting" meaning my father purchasing it and letting me use it but its still my money), to shoot in IPSC also. so i was just wondering what the age is, because ive heard of some kids my age being able to.
