I love fantasy football because it's fun for me, yet it's competative too. No matter how your team is doing, you can always get into fantasy football.
If you know your football, it's not hard to play. And besides, you don't know how happy I was when someone in my league last year dropped the Ravens defense for the Redskins defense (during the pre-season). I saw my opportunity and said bye bye Cowboys D, hello D that I saw which had the chance to be dominating, and that it would prove to be (no knock to the Cowboys). I didn't win my league, but I did make the playoffs thanks in large part to my defense. So fantasy football I find fantasy football to be a lot of fun.

Yes. Fantasy football is amazing, and addictive. I've played for about 6 years, and I try to do more with it each year.
I tried fantasy baseball once, and it drove me nuts.
As in any fantasy game, you assemble a roster of players, watch the players' real-life matchups, and try to earn points from the stats they earn.
With the NFL (or even NASCAR fantasy games) there is one game per week for most (or all) of the teams. You can plan your strategy all week, watch the waiver wires and injury reports, look at your opponent's team, scheme away with trades, drops and adds, and set your lineup just before you sit down to watch the games.
For baseball, for instance, there are games every day. You need to swap your pitchers in for whatever day they're starting, out for when they're not. You have to watch daily injury reports to make sure your guys are playing that night. It's a constant maintenance headache.
You can literally run 3 or 4 fantasy football teams at once with MUCH less headache than 1 roto-baseball team.
If you're a big fan of football in general, you'll love fantasy football. If you're a fan of one NFL team, you'll suddenly find yourself knowing a lot more about every other team, including their backups, where they are weak or strong, what they bring to the table each week, etc. And of course you're socializing with friends in your league, just like any fantasy game.
Fantasy football rocks. If you've never played, I suggest trying a FREE game, such as the free Yahoo version. That's where I started.

I love it, it is so much fun. The draw of fantasy football is hard to describe...you just keep doing it. Drafting is so much fun because you're in charge, and you create a team of All-Stars to compete against your friends, and hopefully, kick their asses haha. Basically, it pits your knowledge of football against others. Of course, most of it is luck, but the fact that you don't know what can happen on any given Sunday is the beauty of it. It is a blast!

I absolutely love it. Every year, a bunch of my friends and I get together and do it. I think draft day is one of my favorite days of the year.
