Obviously he doesnt have the team Elway did when he closed out his career. But he has the same hunger. If the Packers dont it will be the result of not adding to the WR position. I dont think the packers franchise and Brett Favre are on the same page. If Brett Favre ran the team himself while coaching and QB, Then I think they have a chance. He'll through at least 15 int this season and about 22 TD's.

I believe it will be the Spurs and the Pistons in the finals...I know it's the popular pick. Then i think the pistons will beat the spurs in the finals(go Flip)But on the post game show last night Charles Barkley said he thought the Jazz would be able to beat the Spurs...Then Magic backed him kind of. Does anyone else actually share this opinion with these two basketball geniuses?

It is clear to everyone who watched the Western Conference semis that the Phoienix Suns were held responsible for Robert Horry's cheap shot. It is because two of the Suns were suspended for game 5 which led to a hard fought loss but, swayed the momentum into the Spurs favor. Had this rule not gotten inbetween the series, and the players allowed to play I only wonder what could have happened. I would have rather had no players suspended then to have the Suns best post players suspended. Had their been a game 7 in Phoenix the spurs would have lost. They reconized this and went for the kill in game 6 after being advantegously given game 5. i have been looking foward to the suns winning their first championship, and they could have done it this year. Stern should be fired for his poor decision making skills, & Stu Jackson is a goofy looking puppet that can't think for himself. I'm not gonna waste my time watching a re-run of the finals from two years ago, or just plain watch NBA anymore.

after reading some of ur posts on my last question i began talking with a potential trade partner, here are the players he has that i would like.

Smoltz
Justin Verlander
Aramis Ramierez
Helton
Utley
Molina

He wants Andruw jones and potential someone to fill the utility spot if he gives up aramis. (he has reyes at SS, so SS isn't a need as i have 3, which is to many) Also keep in mind i have hafner at utility

So i have Carlos Guillen, Gary Matthews Jr., JJ Hardy, Mike Lowell, Abreu, Rowand, Brandon Phillips, Peralta as the players I'm willing to give up. I would like pitching help.

So far here is what i was thinking

Andruw and Hardy for Smoltz and Ramirez.

or

long shot here but hardy and andruw for chase utley

in the last couple weeks he has been bugging me for jones, so i might be able to get something good out of him.

thanks again for all ur help, this is my first year in fantasy baseball

Yes, I know it's a dumb question, but...some people in Toronto would be irritated if Doug Gilmour is bypassed by Forsberg (after all, if you're a Maple Leafs fan, Gilmour is the greatest thing since sliced bread). If the rumors are true and Forsberg decides to hang up the skates, would he measure up to the greats in the Hall? I say yes. The numbers don't lie: 640 regular season games, 235 goals, 581 assists, 816 points, well over a point a game. In the postseason, Foppa was golden: 139 gms, 61 g, 101 a, 162 pts. Plus I alsomost left out a few little details: a Clader Trophy (1995), a Ross (2003), a Hart (2003), two Stanley Cup rings (1996 and 2001), and two Olympic Gold medals (1994 and 2006). Not only that, he is a two-time Triple Gold (Olympic medal, World Championship medal, Stanley Cup) member (only two other NHLers can say that). The long-term body of work may not compare with Gretzky and Lemieux, but Forsberg was just as great!

One of the greatest discussions in hockey is Eric Lindros. While many so-called experts called him the combination of Wayne Gretzky (on-ice vision, passing ability) and Mario Lemieux (supreme skillset, physically imposing), Lindros has obviously come up short. While the numbers have been impressive (760 games, 372 goals, 493 assists, 865 points, well over a point a game, plus one Hart Trophy and one Olympic Gold Medal), the expectations were too great. If you were to compare Lindros to other H-oFs, he doesn't compare, but...he has accomplished more than the likes of Bernie Federko for crying out loud! You decide!

little Leroy came into the kitchen where his mother was making
dinner.
His birthday was coming up and he thought this was a good time to
tell his mother what he wanted. "Mom, I want a bike for my birthday."
Little Leroy was a bit of a troublemaker. He had gotten into trouble
at school and at home. Leroy's mother asked him if he thought he
deserved to get a bike for his birthday. Little Leroy, of course, thought he did.
Leroy's mother, being a Christian woman, wanted Leroy to reflect on his behavior over the last year. "Go to your room, Leroy, and think about how you have behaved this year. Then write a letter to God and tell him why you deserve a bike for your birthday."
Little Leroy stomped up the steps to his room and sat down to write
God a letter.

Letter 1
Dear God:
I have been a very good boy this year and I would like a bike for my birthday. I want a red one.
Your friend,
Leroy

Leroy knew that this wasn't true. He had not been a very good boy
this year, so he tore up the letter and started over.

Letter 2
Dear God:
This is your friend, Leroy. I have been a pretty good boy this year
and I would like a red bike for my birthday. Thank you.

Your friend,
Leroy

Leroy knew that this wasn't true, either. So, he tore up the letter
and started again.

Letter 3
Dear God:
I have been an "OK"! boy this year. I still would really like a red
bike for my birthday.
Leroy

Leroy knew he could not send this letter to God either. So, Leroy
wrote another letter.

Letter 4
God,
I know I haven't been a good boy this year. I am very sorry. I will
be a good boy if you just send me a red bike for my birthday.
Please! Thank you,
Leroy

Leroy knew, even if it was true, this letter was not going to get
him a bike. By now, Leroy was very upset. He went downstairs and told his mom that he wanted to go to church.

Leroy's mother thought her plan had worked as Leroy looked very sad.

"Just be home in time for dinner," Leroy's mother told him.
Leroy walked down the street to the church on the corner. Little
Leroy went into the church and up to the altar. He looked around to see if anyone was there.
Leroy bent down and picked up a statue of the Virgin Mary. He
slipped it under his shirt and ran out of the church, down the street, into the house, and up to his room. He shut the door to his room and sat down with a piece of paper and a pen.

Leroy began to write his letter to God.

Letter 5
God,
I'VE GOT YOUR MAMA.
IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN,
SEND THE BIKE.
Signed,
YOU KNOW WHO

Mushfiqur Rahim is young and doesn't have any test experience but I don't get why in the world they would drop him and pick up Khaled Mashud. In the test he scored only 2 runs and also did a bad job of wicketkeeping. I say let the youngster play. He did a fabulous job in the World Cup and I see him doing well in Test matches
