Mushfiqur Rahim is young and doesn't have any test experience but I don't get why in the world they would drop him and pick up Khaled Mashud. In the test he scored only 2 runs and also did a bad job of wicketkeeping. I say let the youngster play. He did a fabulous job in the World Cup and I see him doing well in Test matches

To an extent you are right. But Khaled Mashud has the ability to occupy the crease. He drew a test match for Bangladesh batting right throught the fifth day. Bangladesh started the day at 94/6 and finished the day at 247/8 with Mashud scoring a century.

Rahim is talented, but not consistent enough for a test player

Khaled mashud is more experienced than Rahim.that is the reason he has been picked ahead of rahim.moreover he has played some good knocks in test matches.
