as the slogan says itself. IT IS entreteniment, but the hazards are real.
We know the matches and storylines are staged, but to sell the moves you need real wrestling skills. The fights are real, the damage is real. You can tell by some wrestlers like Mick Foley or all the wrestlers getting injured right now.
About the money part... I honestly don't feel guilty about paying for entreteinment. If you want to help the homeless so bad, then why do you have an internet server, or why do you have a TV at home. Just sell it and I bet you'd have more than 50 bucks. There are millions of ways we can help the homeless, Us having a hobby or not doesn't make any difference.

I don't know who one should call ignorant, as you didn't even bother to search and see that the question of the fans knowing if it's scripted or not has been answered a lot previously.
Why pay 50 for a pay per view? Cause they want to.
Same reason as some people spends hundreds on designer clothes or people who spends money on DVDs or on other useless sh!it we'll never REALLY need.
It's not like wrestling fans are the only ones in the world who use money on them selves.
If you don't like wrestling that's fine. There is probably some show, music or other thing you use to entertain your self others don't like as well. Doesn't mean there is a reason to go around bashing it.

let me guess ur the guy thats nvr watched it or watched it when he was a kid. Every one nos its fake, but so are sitcoms, hell Amercan Idol is even jadded. Its a drama that has signs of a sitcom with some action. Yea well the homeless people should of went to college or they should get a job. Shame on u for not being tolerant of something that around 15- 20 million people watch a week. You dont no anything bout the business and ur nagging on it. Ur the idiot, go watch some golf or tennis, every other sport pays there players 10 15 million a year but wrestlers get paid about 2 - 5 million. Shame on those sports for payin there players os high shame on them

First, the only pay per view that is 50 bucks is Wrestlemania. The others are only 35-39 dollars...But, you might as well ask a boxing fan the same question. At least Pro Wrestling admits their matches are rigged. Boxing is faker than wrestling because it still pretends that its not corrupt, that boxers don't take dives...

I agree. What a waste watching anything! Why pay $50 to watch a sporting event, period? Because it is entertaining? Thats a lousy answer. Whether the sport is orchrastrated or not, blowing $50 is a waste. We spend too much money for entertainment so entertainers are paid exhorbant amounts; yet we wonder why American kids are so dumb! They dont want to learn. They want to play sports and be in movies because that is where the money is. If you quit paying Hollywood so well and start investing in teachers, then kids would actually value education and maybe we wouldn't be losing America to Mexico and Japan!
By the way, they know it is fake, just like you know soap operas, talk shows, movies, cartoons, and comic books are fake. It is pure entertainment and they value WWE so they blow $50 on it.

no, none of us are. we all know its not real but they could still always get hurt. its fun to watch thats why they call it ENTERTAINMENT. plus about 90% of other television is fake. also alot of things could go to the homeless. dont single out wrestling, im sure you pay a lot of money a month for, where you live, the computer you asked this question on, you probably have a tv, that money could go to the homeless. think of that buddy?

stop watching movies then too buddy. movies are all orchestrated. its a predetermined outcome with a bunch of fake actors doing the falls and stunts. whereas wrestlers do their owns stunts. yeah its scripted but its entertainment. don't like it? don't watch it or worry about it for that matter.
