Check out the books on arcadiapublishing.com. They have amazing boxing books based on city. Their Cincinatti Boxing book just came out. I own the Chicago, Boston, Baltimore(GREAT stuff on Gans), Detroit and San Francisco. Seriously guys, no boxing fan should be without these books. They're invaluable historical documents. They tell you a lot about fighters you probably didn't know about. I got to know all about great contenders like Eddie Hanlon, Leo Rodak and Eddie Santry cuz of these books. Ask yourself this: can you name 6 top bantamweights from the 1910s? Or 5 top featherweights from the 1890s? That's the kind of great stuff these books have.

Go to the site, hit the catalogue search and then "search by theme". The boxing link is there.

BTW...my plug is based on enthusiasm and nothing more. I have no financial interests in these books. Just in case you guys were wondering*s*

Fox cover 19 teams this year next year it will be 20 with the royals. They also have the national televise games and the playoffs and world series. Living in los angeles i learn to hate fox they have a monopoly in all los angeles sports.what really drives me insane is how they angels game right before Dodger games. the announcer also do both teams and get them confused they also seem clumsy and just plain dumb. even though they have two channels they still show angel players in Dodger shows. also you can't tell the difference between Dodger games in los angeles or pirates games in pittsburgh.

I dont think so, even with moss and all their other signings. The patriots are still leagues below the super colts and super bolts. No way can the pats score on the colts D which will be as nasty as it was in the playoffs last year, and the bolts D which is nasty all the time. And the Colts and San Diego offense will scortch and old overrated D, Pats will be 10-6 and a one and done playoff team AT BEST! Dont you agree?

Isnt it unfair???Gilchrist revealed that the only secret behind his success in the finals was the fact that he kept a squash ball inside the glove in order to obtain a perfect grip which eventually led him to thrash sri lankan bowlers.Dont u think its unfair???All these days i was wondering how that form came to him on that day and now only i realize the reason.Too bad and very unfair.

boring. There's bugs, bees, snakes. Then there's chicken liver, worms, ewwwwww. I can go to the store and buy plenty of fresh fish, cleaned and boned, ready to cook, for what they pay for a fishing license and bait and the time wasted! What is the facination? (Plus, I don't have to screw up a whole day for a pan ful of fish either!) Please explain this to me.

I mean ,even at 19yrs old..he was schooling the whole league..yeah he dropped 35 on MJ..in 3qtrs!..
at 21..he was winning championships...(Magic knows)
and as good as MJ was..at 28..people will argue Kobe is better..and his career is only half over!..thats comparing..half a career..to MJ's whole career!.....

just look at this site..every other question is about Kobe!...
why would people want to talk so much about Kobe?....
because he's the best..that's why!...even after he got with that turbo W.H.O.R.E in Denver..his jersey is still #1..damn!...Kobe is the greatest!..even after MJ got investigated by the F.B.I. for "Gambling Issues"..his jersey sales dropped!..imagine if he got caught cheating..OH! Wait!..anyways...

I am not going to say who it is because that would ruin it, but I have been watching this pro wrestler for quite some time and while he may be a loose cannon his mic skills are the best since The Rock and Chris Jericho and his in ring ability is comparable to Owen Hart and AJ Styles, and I trully believe if this guy gets his act together he might change pro wrestling as we know it. My previous poll came out 11 for to 6 opposed. Personally I vote Rose should be in the hall of fame, right along with the Wife beater Mickey Mantle, the whore chaser Babe Ruth, and the Racist Ty Cobb. Heck yah MLB is TWO FACED. And I think Bonds records should stand if he breaks a record... why? Cause even though he may have more power... You still gotta hit the BALL. Oh, and Baseball stadiums are shorter as well. I also think McGwire should be in the hall of fame as well. So what if he did or didn't use drugs? He still hit that ball outta there, didn't he? I bet Hank Aaron drank coffee? I think caffeine is a stimulate. I think Babe Ruth ate to much, food is a drug.
