Sachin has been considered God for ages now. He is extra-ordinary but not god. He has not been in his top form for few time now. For the last 17 years he has been an integral part of team, despite is form, as he has delivered a lot.
He has been made to sit outside so as to realize that either he should improve his form or starting thinking about retirement.

Besides all these above statements, I am a great fan of him.

We always worship our leaders, players and actors without bothering about their real capabilities. OK. he was good. But we have to see whether he is good now.

Second he is supported by Maharastrians who see him as a Maharashtrian rather than as an Indian. Similar is the case with Ganguli who is supported by Bengalis and even his CM .

Unless we change our mind set and go for real people who play for the country rather than for their own money and fame, no improvement can be achieved.

These cricketers get lots of money. When large money is there, there cannot be honesty, integrity or patriotism.

Our selection commity and experts are not profesional. They only see the one side of the sachin that he is the leading run scorer, highest century scorer.he is the god.But they can not see that after 98 sharjah final (on his birthday) the last pressure match he has played ,after that for nearly 9 years he has not contributed in any pressure match or in the final. also sachin play for his on century, never hits 4 or 6 when he is in nintyes.also sachin is never test winner in his life.

It is not the question of keeping him out. If he is good enough he will earn his place again. No one is to be considered above the team,Then only Indian team will perform better

i was pondering over this just some time ago.why oh why cant we have him out ???only if the selection committee could do so!!!!!!!!! but probably they cant risk it.let's face it we dont have the required bench strength.and there aren't players who are good enough to replace sachin..that's strange, cuz considering the form he is in right now anybody who knows to hold a bat and face a ball can do the job.lol!!!!!

because the selectors seem to be reluctant to keep him out in view of his past record, but how can a person earn a place merely on the basis of his history, this is a big question
