Hard to say for sure, but I think this year they are for real. This is the first time they have had five quality pitchers in the starting rotation and a solid bullpen. They hanve 13 positional players who are all good enough to be starters, and more waiting in the wings in Nashville, so injuries won't be an issue like the last few years. They have TWO great closers, which means that if they go into the eighth with a lead, they have pretty much won the game. they have more depth and better quality starters, and more experience than prior seasons, so yes, I think they are for real.

Have faith, they might be competative and finish strong at the end. It would be something if the Brewers and Cardinals faced off in the League Championship Series. I say this since a long tme ago the Brewers faced the Cardinals in the World Series, when the Brew Crew was in the American League.

So far I believe they are for real and having their best season in a long time and the best since they switched to the National League. I think they have as good of chance of any of the teams in the NL Central and I don't think they will just fade away. They just need to do great so they can walk away with this division.

I picked them to win the division back in spring training. These guys are for real. The have the best pitching staff in the NL Central and possibly in the entire NL.
Sheets, Capuano, Suppan, Bush, and Vagas is pretty darn good top to bottom. Throw in Wise, Turnbow, and Cordero in the pen and they are solid.
Weeks, Hardy, Fielder, Hall, and Hart are all young and homegrown talent. Add in veteran leadership in Estrada, Jenkin and Mench. Counsell and Graffanino are two guys that fit their roles well.
They will be in the playoffs!

They are for real. They have developed a very good young team. The lineup, rotation, and bullpen are loaded with young talent. The biggest knock on them would be their inexperience which can lead to inconsistency. But because of the division they are in, I look for them to win or at least be in contention for the NL Central division title.

I saw this coming. almost all of thier run producers came up from their farm system..I think they will get better as the season goes on.. and possibly better next year..the buzz through out wisconsin over the brewers is amazing.
the biggest suprise to me is jenkins and hardy..I thought hardy was just a pretty face to get women to come to miller park , but the kid can play too.

It happens every year. They start out strong and then they fizzle. I'm not getting my hopes up again until I see it this time.

They are for real!! I mean their pitching has been quite good, and their hitting has surprised a lot of people. They are in it for the duration, and I think they will win their division easily.
Chow!!
