A good teacher need not be an expert in his subject. Likewise a commentator need not be an expert batsman to comment on the flaws of the player on the field. I will not feel awkward if Maninder Singh does it.

Absolutely agreeable. A good bowler would know the best of a bestman.
If a question is asked to a batsman they would ask which bowler you find it difficult to bat against and vice-versa.
So, to answer you question. I have a feeling that his comments are valid.

It shows media is fooling people in the name of experts.I wish media respects the sentiments of cricket lovers and get the right people for the job.Personally I like your question,well tough I wish others also could contribute in asking such questions rather than asking the same repeated stale questions in different forms.
