I wonder if he ever have thought his death would have caused sooooo many safety changes in racing? From the man who fought for the restrictor plates to come off and basically said if people didn't want to drive fast, they didn't have to. Can you imagine him wearing the HANS Device? What would his thought on the COT be?

Considering the need to break hard off the straightaways and accellerate hard at the top of the tight turns at Martinsville, do traditional road specialists have somewhat of an advantage there? Jeff Gordon seems to do well at Martinsville leading me to this question and I wonder if Juan Pablo Montoya might find a certain measure of sucess there as well.

(By underrated I mean never used to their full potenial, or never recieved a "World" title shot despite being worthy, etc....)


My answer would be either Arn Anderson ( he had great promo skills and was a good in ring talent) or Dean Malenko(wasn't so strong on the promo side, but more than made up for it in the ring)
