Yes onetime I cryed through a race and at the end my goggles were filled up with tears that was how hard I was crying.

Yes you can and I have. You won't notice the tears because they will mix immediately with the water when they leave the gland.
Also, chlorine doesn't dry your eyes out, you can still cry. Chlorine is produced simply by electrolysis of salt water and when chlorine is added to water, a reaction occurs splitting it into hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite ions. The hypochlorus acid is what does the bacteria killing and when it mixes with ammonia or nitrogen it becomes chloramine which is what causes eye and mucus gland irritation. Though it is indeed an acid, hypochlorous acid falls into the weak acid category along with vinegar and fruit acids. As long as the pH in the pool is balanced the chlorine shouldn't bother you.
Tear fluid contains water, mucin, lipids, lysozyme, lactoferrin, lipocalin, lacritin, immunoglobulins, glucose, urea, sodium, and potassium. When you cry underwater, these are released and simply mix with the water around you, no harm done.

i would believe so... but you would have to be wearing goggles because the chlorine would dry your eyes out if you weren't wearing goggles....
