I have an Idea for a tool that would make the pit stops quicker and more competitive . How do I go about getting it approved ? It would be very costly to make but its a great idea . I just wonder how to get it approved through Nascar and get a patent on it?

Consider basketball, football, soccer, etc. They all involve a ball or handling of a ball to some varying degree. However, baseball involves hitting a ball, that is traveling at a high rate of speed, with a wooden stick essentially. Even if you do hit the ball, you must hit it in an area between the foul lines and where there isn't a player waiting to field it. Even when you suceed, you fail in this sport (i.e. failing 7 out of 10 times in baseball is considered a success).

You have to be the dumest franschise to loose your back to back #1 picks, LOL. I will give Orlando 2 more years to loose Howard. Yes, Shaq wanted out but could have stayed in Orlando if the Magic weren't to stingy and going bacj and forth in the price tag. I would give a young Shaq $200 mil. and wouldn't be a miser for a few million to lose him.

Even though we have a long season of racing yet to come, what do you think Bobby LaBontes chances of making the chase are? He is in 14th in points now. Need to be top 12. Mark Martin is ahead of him still & will recieve no points again this week.

I've always wondered how good Ty Cobb was, how good Cy Young was, etc. Were they good only because no one else was in that time period OR were they really that dominant? Consider pitchers like Santana, Schilling, Rivera facing players like Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, etc.

Did teams from the American and National league play eachother during the regular season before inter league play was introduced? Not counting pre-season and World Series. I have a friend who says before interleague play-every team played eachother. I am super confident he is wrong-Am I wrong? As much details as possible please.

here's the situation people of Yahoo. All winter I've been at home sitting infront of the computer it's when i get real lazy. But now that spring started i started to ride my bike take walks and play soccer alot! My legs are killing me. My mum told me its 'cause that your thigh muscles are ripping, and when they do they'll regrow stronger. If that's true or not, when will the pain go away i can barely stand up :(

Me personally i don't think this was the right time for her. I believe she does deserve it but i think this wasn't her time yet. torrie deserves it more than she does. my favorite dive victoria deserves it more. candice is really putting forth effort to be in the ring so i give her all the credit in the world. some people think different but that is my though about it. I just think this was not the right time for melina and she WILL lose to ashley at wrestlemania becasue of her backstage heat she has with just about everybody. What are your thoughs. Let me know

My Dad was telling me his fastball has not gotten over 85mph all spring , is that true? Is anyone optomistic that he can make it back? What is the story with all these pitchers , young studs breaking down all the time Wood, Liriano , Prior just to name a few. They know so much about sports medicine now , can't these trainors , Doctors, figure out a way to keep them in one piece? Anyway any thoughts? Thanks.

I am from Indianapolis and personally there is nothing I enjoy more in sports than the rivalry between my hometown team the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots. I think rivalries in sports makes sports more exciting. Without rivalries the Boston Red Sox-vs.-New York Yankees, Michagan-vs.Ohio State, Maple Leafs-vs.-Canadiens, Redskins-vs.-Cowboys, and so on matches wouldn't have the luster they have now. Personally, I see the rivalry between Indianapolis and New England as a rivalry based off of respect because no two teams in the NFL have been more successful in the past ten years then these two teams and I think that fans on both sides enjoy the rivalry because it's slowly becoming a legendary rivalry, especially because both teams have the best quarterbacks in the game, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. What do you think?
