You have to be the dumest franschise to loose your back to back #1 picks, LOL. I will give Orlando 2 more years to loose Howard. Yes, Shaq wanted out but could have stayed in Orlando if the Magic weren't to stingy and going bacj and forth in the price tag. I would give a young Shaq $200 mil. and wouldn't be a miser for a few million to lose him.

I am a big Magic fan. And I think Dwight will stay with the Magic. The only reason I see him leaving is because of Brian Hill. He has got to go. He does not know what to do with the team. The Wolves game Pi$sed me off sooo much. After Jameer missed the first shot that could of won us the game, Hill should of made a play like the one that won us the Spurs game. But he let Jameer get 2 more shots that would of ended the game and Jameer missed them both. I also heard that the last time we played the Heat, Dwight was late for the plane, so Brian told the pilot to take off as soon as he saw Dwight pull up to the airport. One of the players overheard and got off the plane to stall it long enough for Dwight to come. That's only a rumor though. Brian Hill is the only person who could make Dwight leave the Magic. However, they are also giving him a max contract when his old one expires, so he won't be leaving anytime soon. This is a well known fact that the Magic will resign him at max.

In my opinion and in all seriousness I think that the next All Star big to leave Orlando will be Darko Milicic. His contract expires this summer and Orlando really needs a proven scorer. The Magic will choose between Vince Carter or Darko. VC will probably win that one. They don't have enough money for both of them. Darko will then sign with some crapy team that desperately needs another big. I'm thinking Charlotte or Goldenstate. Darko will finally get playtime and live up to that 2nd draft pick from 03.

But I agree the Magic are RETARDED, and this is coming from a fan. They should of never let go of Shaq, Penny or T-Mac. And now they are gonna resign Brian Hill as head coach. STUPID! I could go to the special olympics and find a guy who can coach the Magic better than this guy. If they do somehow screw it up with Dwight, he'll be leaving next summer, when his contract expires.

d-howard is the type of player that the magics were looking for. he is their franchise player, and is as important to the magic as nash is to the suns. he makes the magic go, and now they are on the verge of making the playoff (which i dont think will happen). howard already made steve francis, who everyone was expecting to be the franchise player for the magic, leave and get traded to new york after just a year and half. look, howard will be the second best big man in this year (behind yao) once shaq and ben the beast retire. and will continue to be one of the best even if someone else comes into the league. he is a great player, and i dont think the magic will trade him. i think that shaq wanted to leave the magic only because that the rockets beat them in the finals. shaq was still young, but smart. he knew if he got traded after leading a team to the finals, he will get paid lots of bucks. plus, with kobe and phil it looked like he made a great dicision. but in howards story, the magic are not the team that can make the finals, and he will eventually have that motivation and drive that player like t-mac, nash, and dirk have. the drive to want to win a championship, and after a couple of years of losing a little with the magic, howard will play great basketball. i think he will definetly end up being on of the top 10 centers of ALL time when he retires.

the magic will be crazy to trade him man, it is just highly unlikely.

Shaq. Howard has exceedingly a lot NO submit strikes in any respect except spin and dunk. Shaq in his Orlando days and Dwight at present are in reality all athleticism and capacity. Shaq wins. He ought to easily get all and sundry out of his way and jam over all and sundry if he had to.

They will not lose Howard. He is the franchise & at 22 years old is the best big man in the East under the age of 30.

Yea they were idiots, when they let Shaq go...They also had T-MAC and never built any around him, Your probally right about Howard leaving....Howard is going to be one of the best, if not the best big man in the league, for years to come....I would do what ever it took to keep him on my roster

when dwight howard asks for the money he deserves, (alot considering he is a RIDICULOUS rebounder, shot blocker, and has mind-boggling potential) the magic might not be willing to pay him that kind of money. As they say history always repeats itself.
