Sports - 26 March 2007

Hello there, I'm getting a Salomon Maiden SW and was wondering if 147 or 143 would be a better length for me. I'm about 5'3, 115 pounds, size 8 shoes. I'm also getting Medium Salomon Poison bindings and have Size 7 Burton Freestyle boots. I'm still pretty much a beginner, who needs to work on her toeside, but good on the heelside, and I rarely go to the park, usually just mountain runs. If you need additional details just ask. I play tennis usually around five times a week on hard courts and I am having a hard time finding a pair of shoes that doesnt lose its grip quickly... I returned my last pair of shoes recently because of the worn down tread and my replacement pair which is differen by adidas is already worn down alot on the inner toe where it is most critical.
So I really need to know what tennis shoes offer the longest life and perhaps come with a warranty incase they still don't last. I've heard of the Reenforcer or something by k swiss but i dont know how much the replacement sole costs? Any Ideas anyone?

anyone think Boylen to Utah was a good hire? Boylen hasn't proved himself as a head coach but Izzo's assistants always do well. Do you think that Arkansas coach deserved to be fired after making the NCAA tournament? Will Michigan hire Lon Kruger? Who will Kentucky hire? These will all be the major hires this year and I don't know what will happen.

A lot of times when I watch Soccer it's hard for me to support the way players fake injury and writhe around on the ground in dire pain and then get back up and play the full 90. I wonder if their kids think dad is tough or if he's a sally. I think a lot more games would be called more fairly if more respect was paid to the refs. There is a lot of poor sportsmanship in Soccer now. I would love to help change the way the game is played if I had the talent and opportunity to compete. I was always taught to respect the game. If you're hurt you're hurt. If you get hurt easily make yourself stronger. Don't leave your teammates short handed while you fake injuries to draw calls. I don't know if it's just an American opinion for athletes to be in exceptional physique, but I find most of the players to be lacking in Soccer. Just because you have big muscles doesn't make you slow or clumsy. I don't know. I love to watch Soccer, but I'm tired of watching grown men play like children.
