Certainly. Clutch shot makers in college typically end up being good pros. Law fits the profile of an NBA combo guard, a position that has become more popular since the league banned hand-checking dribblers. Combo guards are guys who can play both guard positions, but have some reason why they can't play either one full time; like being too short to play shooting guard, or lacks the court vision of a real point guard. Guys like Leandro Barbosa, Monta Ellis, Luthur Head, and Devin Harris make their living this way, and play very important roles for their teams. Law is a confident shooter, an adequate ball-handler, smart enough to learn complex NBA schemes, and a ruthless, opportunistic defender. Someone will give him a shot, and I'd be very surprised if he didn't succeed.

Dear Puck Keep,

Acie Law is a senior so he will be entering the NBA draft and he'll be a potential lottery to mid-first round pick. He kind of reminds me of Jameer Nelson, i think it will depend on what system he is put into that will determine his success. i don't think he'll be ready to start right away- so he'll have to earn minutes and do the little things well...
