The official NBA ruling states that a player must "lose control" of the basketball and that another player must touch the basketball in order for the original player to regain his dribble. I vaguely remember seeing players such as Pippen employ such tactics in the past but don't know if it is still legal now.

jamarcus russell seams obvious, but i dunno. andrew walter last year, when he actually had more than 1 second in the pocket, threw the ball quite accurately. however, most of the time, the defense was at him before he looked at the field. the raiders are still happy with walter, so i think they might go with joe thomas. give an explanation to your answer

I had about 1 year of BJJ, and right now Ive been training a lot of kickboxing. Ive been kickboxing for almost 1 year now. And i still do grapple when ever possible. My coach was telling me about a MMA event in May, I really want to fight, but I was just wondering how long any of you people trained until your first MMA fight. And do you think i should still take this fight with my limited ground game?

When a self-sealing inner tire tube is punctured (up to 1/8"), it is said to reseal itself. But does it reseal the puncture for good or does it just give me enough time to get to a place where I can change / patch the inner tube?

Also, does using tire liners affect the tires in any way at all (aside from keeping me from having flat tires)? I have a mountain bike but I use it only on paved trails.
