Thats b/c they dont know anything, they just seem to forget who were the AL West Champions in 2006. Yeah we dont have Zito and Thomas but we hav Piazza and i have a feeling that HARDEN is going to have a great year and Haren is just going to get better and of course dont forget about my boy SWISHER!! he is going to have another great year.

With additions like Shannon Stewart, Embree, and Piazza, the A's will be BETTER than they were last year. Swisher and Bradley will be better than last year. Chavez and Crosby are not going to be hurt like they were last year. Harden will win the Cy Young this year. Haren, Blanton, and Loaiza are definitely settled into their spots in the rotation. Piazza won't be doing anything but hitting so yes, he'll definitely do a lot better than all of his previous years in my opinion. Shannon Stewart has a career batting average of .299! .299! WOW! Enough said? The A's are definitely in a better position than they were last year and I'm so excited to see how far they'll go this year. The Mariners and Rangers didn't do much this offseason so look for the same outcome to happen. The Angels did get a tad bit better in the offseason but I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about. With all the additions made on the A's and all the nonaddtions made everywhere else in the AL West, the A's should run away with the division championship. It sucks to see Ron Washington go, but hey, I'm sure Eric Chavez and Mark Ellis have learned all they can from such a great man.

As always, the biggest question mark with the A's is their health. I don't know what it is but they, more than any other MLB team, always suffer through the most injuries.

Maybe they need a better trainer or something.

IF they can stay healthy, they're locks for the AL West because of their completeness.

I think which team that can stay healthy will have the advantage and it will most likely come down to the head to head matchups at the end of the season. I''m an A's fan but the problem is that they got that Guerrero guy and he is twice as good as anything the A's have.

It's tough to say it, but I'm gonna have to go with Oakland. I am from Seattle, therefore I hate ansewring this question. Also, I despise the A's, but they always have a hell of a second half.

A's always do something in the west when they're not supposed to.
