Soccer is not a one man sport, however yes.... he is better than all of them and it will show. He will meet his challengers, Palencia isn't going to just fold under him... but he will dominate. The main thing is that MLS can get some real Rep points if some better European players start migrating over to the MLS.

Like someone already said, soccer is not a one man sport. Success relies on the team, not the individual. Beckham himself will not overcome all the other players...Actually, there is a lot of talent in the MLS, so I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't do as well as others. But back to my point...If Beckham does become successful in the MLS, and if he overcomes all other teams, it will not be because of him but because of the team effort.

No doubt Beckham will have his moments, but MLS is full of young, fit, energetic players who want nothing more than to prove that they can match up with him. It won't be a walk in the park for him, and he may find that MLS is more challenging then he imagines.

the fact beckham is a good player may play a role in his overpowering of every player in the MLS... but beckham is on his way out his years have passed.. he still conserves his level but it really isnt the same... on the other hand beckhams arrival to the US will shed spotlight on the MLS, spotlight that they desperately need they need better players i got better players in my jv soccer team... the level of competition definitely has to go up if the league wants to be recognized internationally

No. He came here to make movies, and play some soccer on the side. Besides, he's gonna have it tough because he's gonna be facing a lot of angry players that are earning in a year what he will earn in a day and they're gonna want to prove themselves against him.

he already is the best player that the league has ever had. i just don't know if the team will be succesful, after all he can't play every position at once. so his teammates will have to pitch in. and they will determine how successful we consider his tenure with the team.

no, he will be average, just like when every other superstar tried to come here. Blanco is trying to come to MLS, if he does he will be embarrassed like Luis Hernandez was.
