See you all in the morning. LOL MY son messed up and answered the door and now I have to go to work. Seems they are very short at the nursing home. So much for days off. Have fun and play nice.

military service, used to view the Great Pyramid as "God's Stone Witnesss", banned vaccinations and organ transplants, change its mind on Christmas, and predicted events for 1914, 1935, and 1975 that failed to come true?

Our typical tendency is to desire for other people to become like us. If you are an atheist, you want people to be rational. If you are a Christian, you want people to be more faithful. The reality of the situation is that in this lifetime we will never see both groups agree. Hard Core Christians don't become atheists, and vice versa. So my question is how can two group who have completely opposing ideologies have mutually beneficial relationships? How can we build each other up as fellow human beings in a way that doesn't require the other group to change their beliefs? Is that even possible?

I’m thinking to surprise my boyfriend on our coming 2nd anniversary.
What I’m planning to do is make a reservation in a hotel room. I will decorate the room in lieu of our 2nd year anniversary , I will cook food for us, drink some wine with background music of our fave song. And a cute stuff toy on the bed holding a rose or tulips. A balloons with a message on the tip of the thread happy 24th monthsary. And a cute chocolate cake with a light candle. What do you think about my idea?Is it romantic or corny? Any suggestions or add-ons to make our 2nd yr anniversary more romantic? Thanks to those who will help me.

The bible says to repent. How do you? what verses tell you how? not the ones that tell you to repent.

Muslims why would God say its ok to beat your wife? Judaism does not teach that. Muslims believe God did speak to the Jews but they got corrupted along the way. But still they do not believe beating their wives is ok.

"Surah 4:34
"Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, ADMONISH THEM and send them to beds apart and BEAT THEM. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is high, supreme."

Telling a terriable lie about you? I acted like I didn't hear her. I think this is what Jesus would have done, I have prayed that God will heal her of this lying spirit because I and others have heard the many lies she tells. I think she has a mental illiness. But it still hurts my feelings because I would never do the terriable thing she said I did.

about just how far certain fundamental Christian sects will take, or attempt to take in American laws? There are those who think we should make Christianity the "official religion" and there are those who think some religions should be outlawed, etc.
Does that scare anyone else?

Is it because they really lack the scientic proof to back it up ?
Scientific proof ......

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Bible/1611_authorized_king_james.htm

Is it because they cant believe a loving God can put people in a real Hell, so it must not be true ?

scientific proof of a real hell.....

Or do they simply believe evolution is fact ?

Evolution only speculation, not fact at all...

All the errors in the bible....

If you answer that the bible is fiction, or full of errors and therefore discredited, before at least weighing the scintific proof given, then I will deem you answer null and void, and realize that your only hiding behind what your fellow believers say, just like you acuss the Christian of doing.

No more!
The craps rolls out your mouth again
Haven't changed, your brain is still gelatin
Little whispers circle around your head
Why don't you worry about yourself instead

Who are you? where ya been? where ya from?
Gossip is burning on the tip of your tongue
You lie so much you believe yourself
Judge not lest ye be judged yourself

Lev 26:27-28 NRSV) But if, despite this, you disobey me, and continue hostile to me, I will continue hostile to you in fury; I in turn will punish you myself sevenfold for your sins.

(Lev 26:29 NRSV) You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.

(Jer 19:9 NRSV) And I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and all shall eat the flesh of their neighbors in the siege, and in the distress with which their enemies and those who seek their life afflict them.

On one hand Jesus says he came not to bring peace but a sword outlineing many funny things like " if you even look at another woman you have sinned and will be punished" "whosever speaks against holy spirit or ghost will not be forgiven in this age or the one to come" and Matt 12:11 " if a guy comes to a wedding without wedding garments, bind him hand an foot and cast him into outer darkness"
Then you have the good Jesus who forgives prostitues, tells people judge not that yea be judged, love you neighbors as yourself.

Does anyone else see the angry christ and the good christ?
