since we are in a serious overpopulation crisis, how can anyone say that being gay is against nature? aside from castration or abstinence or abortion it seems that homosexuals are the only answer to our problem.

gays are a way to naturally balance out this situation. by this very simple understanding it is clear that gay relationships are natural and should be encouraged.

gays are a Godsend and the human race will be dependant on the gay populous to perpetuate our existence.

shouldn't we all be thanking God for gay people since they help relieve our exponential birth rate crisis?

i'm not interested in "god made adam and eve not adam and steve" cult chanting.

i just think that we shouldn't be so ignorant to think that gays aren't natural.

you know what's not natural? walking on water. i guess that makes jesus an abomination, too.

I asked the bishop at my church if she (yes it's a she) could marry my fiance and I and she said I have to take 8 marriage counseling classes and the fee is $500 Is this the going rate? Believers, Is there a certain protocol like I mean If I belong to a Church does my Bishop have to marry me or can I get someone else to? $500 is alot of money considering a wedding is expensive enough. Am I wrong for getting someone else to marry me? I would like answers from people who have facts on this matter not those who will criticize the situation. Your thoughts?

Let's say that there was no heaven or hell...

Would you follow Jesus, if all that meant was to make a better life here on earth? Or did you only choose to follow Christ because he saves you from hell?

would seem more natural in a Muslim country? With so much in common, how come Christians and Muslims don't love each other like the brothers that they seem to be?

I have heard this statement from many Christian brothers & sisters.

"No one goes to the Father except through him, Christ Jesus. Our sins are forgiven and we have the hope of "everlasting life" in accepting Christ Jesus."

Can you tell me what happens to the whole lot of people who existed before Jesus Christ pbh was born, Who don’t have a chance to go to heaven, just because they were born before Jesus Christ pbh. Isn’t God unjust to them? As according to the Christians, Jesus Christ pbh is the only way . The people born before were not given a chance to follow the way.

And also think about the likes of Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, Solomon pbt .... What about their salvation....Is it also through Jesus pbh.

Gospel
Mt 15:29-37

At that time:
Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee,
went up on the mountain, and sat down there.
Great crowds came to him,
having with them the lame, the blind, the deformed, the mute,
and many others.
They placed them at his feet, and he cured them.
The crowds were amazed when they saw the mute speaking,
the deformed made whole,
the lame walking,
and the blind able to see,
and they glorified the God of Israel.

Jesus summoned his disciples and said,
“My heart is moved with pity for the crowd,
for they have been with me now for three days
and have nothing to eat.
I do not want to send them away hungry,
for fear they may collapse on the way.”
The disciples said to him,
“Where could we ever get enough bread in this deserted place
to satisfy such a crowd?”
Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”
“Seven,” they replied, “and a few fish.”
He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground.
Then he took the seven loaves and the fish,
gave thanks, broke the loaves,
and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.
They all ate and were satisfied.
They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets full.

O mankind, a similitude is set forth, so listen to it. Surely those on whom you call upon instead of God cannot create even a fly, though they should all combine together for the purpose. And if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they cannot recover it therefrom. Weak, indeed, are both the seeker and the sought.

Why did you make me so attractive to women? My life is fraught with all the fatigue and adulation that one mere mortal man can handle! Oh, it is so, so HARD to be handsome! Why have you cursed me? Why? Can I ever find true peace or will I go through life hiding and hiding my attractiveness? Oh, God, why have you done this to me? Can anyone on Religion and Spirituality tell me why I am so cursed? Is there anything I can do to live the normal life of normal men? What can I do?????

I have showed a picture of Jesus to my 3 kids when they were just small babies, and every one of them recognized him. If they were crying, they would calm down right away when looking at him, also they would coo and giggle, and get excited. God says he knew US before. I truly beleive this, BABIES don't lie.

My family is Catholic. I have priests and nuns in my family. I really love the Church, honestly.

One thing has really been getting underneath my skin about the Church though.

We all know about the priests that are raping little boys:

"Some bishops have been heavily criticized for moving offending priests from parish to parish, where they still had personal contact with male children, rather than seeking to have them permanently removed from the priesthood."

I have to ask the Catholics this; why not refuse to pay tithing until these priests are permanently removed from the priesthood?

"Some have alleged that Church members paid off victims of child abuse, either in settlement of compensation claims, or in order to prevent them reporting to the police. "

By paying tithe, you're protecting these child molesters. Why not put an end to it?

why members who are received in the Temple are ever after expected to wear white "garments" under their clothes? Not during surgery, childbirth or marital relations of course. However for the rest of their lives until death they are to be dressed in these garments. What is the point please, and is it for their "protection"? Thank you for your answer.

I am Lutheran. I am baptized. I was confirmed. I stopped going to church after I was confirmed b/c I am not sure my religion is right for me. I'm not sure what to believe in. How do I know what religion is right for me? How do I become in touch with God? How do I know what to believe? Do we all go to the same heaven?

This is my question. IF evoultion is true, how come humans have an inclination to help other humans from different races and nationalities, even giving their lives? Doesnt this contradict "Survival of the fittest" from which we evoulved?
(gah, spelling sucks today) I mean, even ants while helping their own, would kill an ant from another colony if the ant was in danger as oppossed to helping it. And I study evoultion-you cant evolve altruism (like I said, spelling sucks)

I can understand people expecting God to perform a miracle, but I can't understand why they would expect a mere human to do so. A doctor is limited to what science knows, yet people think that a doctor or even science is holding out on a cure.

A prime example would be cancer and HIV, some people assume that both of these illnesses will be cured. Yet it is impossible.

If you are a doctor, how do you handle it when a patient expects from you more than what you are capable of doing?

Of course, some Catholic priests are already married. Anglican priests who convert to Catholicism while married are almost routinely accepted by Rome for re-ordination as Catholic priests.

They are not alone. Priests in Eastern Rite Catholic churches may also marry prior to ordination. Roughly half of the Catholic priests of the Maronite church of Lebanon elect to marry.

Eastern Rite Catholics like the Maronites and Melkites are following rules that would be familiar to any Greek Orthodox Christian. Priests may marry prior to ordination, but not after. If their spouse should die, they may not remarry. Furthermore, bishops are chosen from the ranks of celibate clergy.

However, the vast majority of Roman Catholics follow the Western or Latin Rite. These Western Rite Catholics have not been served by married clergy -- except for Anglican converts -- for a very long time.
