Hon, The fact that you are thinking about it shows that God is working in your life. He is talking to you, Calling you.
I would like to suggest that you window shop (Per se) Go to different denominations of churches.. If you don`t feel anything, Move on, God is NOT in the house.. You will find the right home for you.
The road to God is not instant. There are many paths and we all take a different one. None is right, and none is wrong. What guides me down the path may not guide you at all.. Ask God to make it crystal clear for you.. He does hear you..
Peace & God bless from Texas <><

The God of the Bible is Real. The Problem is you have probably never known God. 1 john 2:3-4 - by this we know that we know him IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, he who says i know him and doesnt keep His Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. Have you ever kept the 7th day sabbath? That is the fourth Commandment. If not you dont know God. This could be why you have a lack of faith. Jesus Taught Obedience to the whole Law of Moses. Matthew 4:4, Luke 4:4. these verses Quote Dueteronomy 8:3. The ONLY WORD OF GOD he could refer to at this time is the Old Covenant since they did not have the New Covenant at this time. This is a Clear scripture showing Christians are to LIVE by Gods word not just believe Jesus was the Christ, thats only part of it. Some will try to say that paul did away with the Law, but Peter warns us that people would do this, twisting Pauls writings as they do the rest of the scriptures to Justify sinning. 2 Peter 3:15-16 1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin breaks also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (Breaking Gods Laws) Luke 13:3 - Unless ye Repent you will all likewise perish. This may seem like a lot of talk about Gods law, but if you noticed, That is a BIG part in knowing God. If you start keeping Gods Laws you will come to know God and be happy. Try it. If you want to talk IM or Email me In Love Chris

Well, I think first you should try and figure out what doctrines or teachings make you uncomfortable in your present religious affiliation. Afterward, you might like to conduct some research on other branches and denominations in Christianity. There are many good resources out there that can help guide you and provide you with a better understanding of biblical and Christian doctrines. Having a personal relationship with your Creator is the most important part. Take some time to meditate on your own thoughts, then discuss them further with your parents, a close friend, or people you know you can trust, then pray on it as much as possible. You'll find your way.

There is no God, there never was. Any religion which preaches about 'God' is a false religion.
What there is - is your own spirit. I suspect this is what people connect with, when they say 'Oh, I talk to God everyday and get a reply...' because God does not exist, but your own spirit does. And when people meditate (and think also) about this - say in their stillness, try to sense anything in this world - that is what you can only detect - for the 'normal' average person. Your own thoughts and no one else's - and certainly no God present...
This may sound harsh - but I believe it is a correct view.
This is why - the unbelievers and not convinced --- will always outnumber the believers of any and all religions.
They listen to their own spirit - and cannot detect the presence of any God - anywhere at all...
We are still all the same - no matter what you believe in. Belief does not change anything - we all die, and go to the afterlife or spirit world, where we spend some time, and then we come down here again. Reincarnation happens...
Because we've done this many times before...

You MUST learn about as much religions as possible. DONT LET ANYONE TRY TO CONVERT YOU; NOT EVEN ATHEISTS. They think that God doesnt exist because there is no proof; the same can be said about disproving God, you cant prove he doesnt exist. You must find which one is best for you and only you. If all else fails and you cant decide try to life the most virtuous and loving life you can. Take principles from the religions you learned about and apply them to your life. If God doesnt exist, He wont care if you follow tradition. As look as he live a good life, you'll go to "heaven" or its equal. Thats what a good God would do; not care about people swearing to him but to care about people's hearts. Good luck

Beautiful Mind,
Give your up-bringing another chance.
Get a hold of Dr. Gene Edward Vieth's Book "Spirituality of the Cross". This is a great book, easy to read and understand and Scripturaly right on the money. It's about Vieth's personal journey through various denominations, and what led him to the Lutheran Church.
This book not only helped me rediscover my faith, but made me joyful in it.
Please read it.
Your friend in Christ,
Mark

We all go to the same heaven. I would recommend you pray and talk to the Lord regarding these concerns, ask him to show you the way. Sometimes we all will have doubts, this is normal human nature. You might also talk to your pastor and tell him your concerns. There allot of books on the subject as well, maybe a trip to your Christian bookstore would be of help. God bless you.

There is no heaven and there is no God. However, we are more than nanotechnology. The dogma and the intolerance, of most, if not all of the worlds religions interfere with us finding out what that is. In regard to beliefs, don't believe anything, explore and experience everything, including the many religions and cultures of the world.
