Whichever way you think the world may be going is irrelevant. The real question is what are you going to do about it so that it goes the right way or the right way faster?

The "world" is destined to go the wrong way.
It's ruler is Satan; Adam gave him the authority of this world when he rebelled against God and ate the forbidden fruit.
For this reason Jesus came so that people who wanted to live outside of the rule of Satan could have a chance to bring God's kingdom to the Earth.
