Islamic and Christian Messiah belief comes from Judaism doesn't it? Where do they get the idea there will be an imposter Messiah?

The Xians wanted their deity to appear more loving than the old Judaic one . In order to make him so, they took Greek ideas and OT anti-God characters and made them all the same being. The satan mentioned in Job was simply an anti-human angel-a little like God's prosecuting attorney. Having a seperate 'bad guy' made it easier to accept God as being the 'good guy' and still have someone to blame for anything bad that happens. The Jews thought of one deity doing everything and calling the negative actions 'justice'. Apparently, there were plenty of people even then who didn't see it that way.

"Islamic and Christian Messiah belief comes from Judaism doesn't it?" No, not really. Although Judaism does foresee the arrival of a Messiah, this individual is thought to play a very different role than the one Muslims and Christians envision.

Judaism foresees a Messiah who will be a King in the Davidic line, who will oversee a restored Israel in a world marked by an era of peace. But he would only be a man, neither the Mahdi-like figure of Islam nor the Christ-like figure of Christianity.

Jewish eschatology foresees his reign as a time of peace, not a time of Manichean conflict.

Islamic eschatology is much more influenced by Christianity than by Judaism's.

merely such as you pronounced, there is little question that Jesus (pbuh) is returning and there is little question that the anti-Christ will come to lie to many human beings previously his return. it is not precisely who Jesus (pbuh) accepts, yet somewhat who individuals accepts him whilst he returns. That area is as much as us, we get to opt for no count number if we settle for him or not. And our faith will make certain our determination because of the fact people who're vulnerable in faith will stick to the anti-Christ somewhat, could Allah safeguard us from him and his corruptions. From what i understand by many lectures, the final public which will stick to Jesus (pbuh) would be Muslims genuine to their faith, and additionally some Christians who see the fact as quickly as he returns. yet even many Muslims who're vulnerable in faith will finally end up following the anti-Christ because of the fact he's extremely deceptive together with his powers. the final analysis is, people who rather believe in one God and don't affiliate Jesus (pbuh) or all and sundry else to Him will see the fact inshallah and could be people who settle for Jesus (pbuh). those are the individuals with such good faith that makes them attentive to the deceptions of the anti-Christ. To my Muslim brothers and sisters, take the prospect to memorize the 1st and final 10 verses of Surat al-Kahf so as that if we live in the era of the Dajjal and Isa (as), we are able to be risk-free against the deceptions and be on Jesus' area! Salaam~

christians tend to invent a lot of mythological ideas. christians are no longer the minority that they used to be, so modern christians invent an "enemy" that makes them feel like the underdog. fact is, christians are not as persecuted as they once were, and christians don't know how to function.
