I don't neccessarliy believe EVERYTHING in the Bible.
Evolution is a fact. Everything in this world has evolved from it's original form since it came into being. (except for maybe the cockroach) We weren't quite as technologically advanced 2000 years ago as we are today. Back then the world was still flat and the center of the universe. Man we had just barely figured out what pi was. Back then everything WAS in the BIble. Today, well, we need the new digitally enhanced Hi-def, 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound, Pentium Processed version to keep up with all that mind boggling evolution stuff. Yep, they'd have to press that one down and shake it for good measure to get EVERYTHING in there now buddy!
As for the seven days...7 days in GOD's time. Our enitre life time is but a blink of an eye to God.
Adam and Eve. Maybe Neanderthals or Troglodites.
Me, I'm gonna go make a sandwich.

I do not think people blindly believe that what all are in a bible is true. there is something real in it. while we read the bible we feel something calm and relief in our hearts. something happening in ourselves. now you yourself felt about this question. because there is some .. maybe a little bit belief in you..
Regarding the world be created in 7 days. see a human being can destroy anything in the world within seconds. isn't it? so God whom we belief..(as a motive of our lives) why cant he create this world withing 7 days.
And Adam and Even would have been like cavemen. because they didn't have monuments before them. they had to work for their livelihood after they disobeyed god. So it is good you kindly read the bible taking few days. and then you will get some knowledge about this

Science hasn't proven anything, most of based on theory. The Big Bang Theory, how can you believe that everything just came from nothing? How can you believe the organisms just happened to form and joined, and manipulated into living Human beings and animals, that some how one day a long long long time ago... something decided all by its self to reproduce?
If you ask me it's much easier to believe we have reason to be here. That LIfe was created. Did you know that alot of people have tried to disprove the Bible...and as for as I know... have all ended up becoming Christians.
And speaking as a Christian, how can you not believe everything in the bible. If I choose to not believe in part of the bible...than how can I believe any of it. SO I BELEIVE IT ALL, every word.
I don't understand it all, But I believe by faith...and one day maybe God will show me how he formed the heavens and the earth in Seven days.

British philosophy professor Antony Flew, 81, who was a leading champion of atheism, said in a video released Thursday that he now believes in God after being an atheist since age 15, reported The Associated Press.
A super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature, said Flew who arrived at the conclusion that God exists based on scientific evidence. He told The Associated Press his current ideas have some similarity with American "intelligent design" theorists.
In his new video, "Has Science Discovered God?" Flew said biologists' investigation of DNA "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved.”
However, Flew said he doesn’t believe in a God who is active in people’s lives and that there was no afterlife.
"I'm thinking of a God very different from the God of the Christian and far and away from the God of Islam, because both are depicted as omnipotent Oriental despots, cosmic Saddam Husseins," he said. "It could be a person in the sense of a being that has intelligence and a purpose, I suppose."
Flew became known through a 1950 article "Theology and Falsification," based on paper for the Socratic Club, a weekly Oxford religious forum led by writer and Christian thinker C.S. Lewis.
He has finished the formal account of his new outlook for the introduction to a new edition of his "God and Philosophy," scheduled for release next year by Prometheus Press.

Excuse me, but when was evolution proven beyond doubt, or theory?
We do not blindly believe the Bible, our eyes are wide open and so is our hearts to God and to His word. Unless you have experienced a personal walk with God, that is some thing you can not under stand.

evolution - there is no proof of it... even so, God influenced it
science - proves how specific and rythmic our planet is that we have equations and constants that are, well constant throughout time.
Nothing that humans have PROVEN point to the non-existance of God.
The world may have been created in 7 day ( because God can do anything), but since the old testament was written in hebrew and the hebrew word for day mean 1- a day or 2- a eon, long time... so it could have developed through God over many a years

It's called delusion.
What else could cause someone to agree with a book that says this: "For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man."-1 Cor 11:7

Why is it that people blindly believe such false things?
Evolution has NEVER been scientifically proven.
What else do you think that IMPERFECT humans have proven exactly?
The 7 days are not LITERAL. One day to Jehovah God is as 1,000 years to us.
Cavemen never existed.

Just curious, if it offends you that much, why do you even care? No offense intended. There is greater blessing and reward for faith then the evidence of 'proof'. It all boils down to trust. and relationship. Not just facts and science, which is the study and discovery of what has been created by God in the first place. Where is your heart in the matter? for or against God?
