If the Lord God exists, and He alone is God…then He is under no obligation to anybody or anything, even to His creation – us humans.

This implies that He would be Master, and we…if anything, His servants.

If a servant could demand anything from his master and get it, that would make the servant the master and the master the servant.

You atheists often demand proof from God, and in doing so…you attempt to be God and subject God to your whims. It was enough for Him to humble Himself and become one of His own pathetic and small creatures…and even willingly and obediently enduring the cross for the sins of such wretched sinners – even to display His wondrous grace, mercy, and love. While you spit on His grace, mercy, and love….do you dare demand that He demean Himself in subjection to your evil desires?

This is Qur'an 65: http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/065.qmt.html

In context, this chapter of the Quran details the circumstances of divorce and when a man can divorce his wife. In fairness, he is not supposed to leave her if she could be pregnant, but he is also supposed to wait three months (where she has menses each month) to prove she is not pregnant so he can leave.

HOWEVER, there's a line in 65:4 that include women who have never had their menses (i.e. too young to have menses, prepubescent) and they also have to wait three months.

We know for fact that false prophet muhammad married a 6 year old and consummated that marriage when she was pre-menses at age 9- this is proven in multiple hadith where the age of consummation is explicitly stated, and she has been taken from playing on her swing and with her dolls in order for muhammad to violate her

What Evidence of the existance of God the Atheist will accept without any emotion or Bias ?
If one ounce of emotion is shown it is wrong, if one ounce of Bias is shown it is wrong.
You Keep asking for empiricle evidence, But if any was produced, I doubt seriously that it would be accepted because of bias.
Example " If I gave you evidence of evolution you would hold it most dear..If I gave you evidence of Creation you would be skeptical...can you look at all evidence and the possibility that what you have been told is a fabrication ? and what you believe you believe because you want it to be true,,Now I am not talking about me, Keep it about you you and only you.
many times people want to try to reverse it to throw off answering the question.
Can you be completely and totally without emotion without any bias ? after seeing what some of you have posted...I doubt it.

Obviously, not everyone is going to agree on any one religion or faith/beliefs. So, what makes for good religion? By what criteria should we judge? Are the believer's actions the best indicator? Is it the faith that produces the most devout members? Something else?

In my foolish attempt to lighten the mood:

Which R&S commentator would you choose to spend the whole day with at (Location of your choice)?

[The question of course assumes you would like to spend a whole day with someone on the board. If not, then this question isn't for yo.]

If there was ever a Hindu revolution in India, similar to that which Iran had in 1979, and the army overthrew the current set of communists and replaced them with staunch Hindus, what would be the consequences for India as well as for the world???

p.s. this is a hypothetical Q, I am not plotting a coup - at least not yet :-)

In my personal scripture study recently, I've noted several passages which denote a great power behind the simple practice of faith [see Mormon & his commentary in Ether].
Does anyone have any insight here?
[and please, no negativity - yes, I referred to the Book of Mormon and am LDS - nor do I particularly care if you have 'judged' that mormons will go to hell]

"Jesus...said, "FATHER,...this is eternal life, that they may know you, the ONLY true God.'" (John 17:1-3) NRSV

Additionally related is the extremely significant fact that NOWHERE in the Bible can the phrases "God the Son" or "God, the Holy Spirit" be found.

Yet the Father is CLEARLY, directly, and indisputably called "GOD, THE FATHER," many, many times, (Ro. 15:6; 1 Cor. 1:3; 1 Cor. 8:6; 2 Cor. 11:31; Gal. 1:1; Eph. 4:6; 1 Thess. 1:1; 2 Thess. 1:2; etc.)

So again, if Jesus really is God, then why did Jesus himself say that "ONLY" the FATHER is God?

Is it only our continuing understanding of what is true that actually changes? Basically truth doesn't evolve, but our comprehension of it does? A paradigm shift if you will. What are your thoughts?

How has it ruined the family?
How has it ruined children?
How has it ruined the economy?
How has it ruined the Military?
How has it ruined people that want to live by the Ten Commandments?

Or has it just ruined the unrepentful heathen Sinner who hates the Bible and wants religion out of the public eye?
